What a fantastic find! Nordsee at the Munich Market is a perfect spot for any seafood lover. The best part is the great variety, whether you want a full sit-down meal or something quick and easy.
For a proper dining experience, the fresh seafood platters are a great choice and made right there on the spot. If you’re looking for a quick and budget-friendly bite, the takeaway options at the corner of the restaurant are amazing. You can grab fast-food style fish and chips, or tasty seafood baguettes, all for a very reasonable price.
We loved our meals so much that we went back two days in a row with our kids and everyone enjoyed it. It’s a great place for a delicious and well-priced seafood meal.
The good thing is you can sit in the restaurant and eat food from the takeaway!

Me and my parents ate at this restaurant around 7pm when we were in vacation in Munich. A lot of the local eateries had already closed around this time, so we were glad to see this place still open. We ordered a salmon with rice pilaf combo that was pretty good. We also had a variety of drinks to choose from. Overall it was a good place to eat around the late hours.

Special and fresh seefood! We enjoyed a lot! All the various fish dish were showed in the cabinet.
We ordered a fish soup set, there’s fresh fish in the soup. Delicious grilled shrimp, bun and one glass of softdrink.
A shrimp salad bowl and the bowl was eatable. It’s absolutely special for us, and we like the taste.
Three potato cakes with coleslaw.
Delicious and you can’t find kids not like that!
The restaurant is clean with the vibes is just I like, and the WC is at the basement.

Enjoyed lunch at the bar with a friend. We had oysters and the grill Teller. Peter and his coworkers made the experience very entertaining. Everything was very fresh!

Went to Nordsee today.
Tried the paella – honestly a 2/10. It didn’t resemble paella at all. It felt more like a seafood/fish soup with rice than an actual paella.
The oysters were about a 6/10 – not bad, but definitely not as fresh as expected.
The octopus, though, was a solid 10/10 – super tasty and cooked really well.
The chef was nice and helpful, especially since we don’t speak German – he gave us some good advice in English. At times, he came off as a bit sharp or arrogant, but overall he was okay.
If we were to go back, it would be only for the octopus.
As for the place itself – it’s decent for a street market in the city center, but honestly, a bit overpriced.

I would like to commend the excellent service provided during my visit. There was an accidental incident while I was placing my order, and the staff handled the situation with remarkable professionalism, calmness, and courtesy.
I sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused, and I would especially like to express my appreciation to the staff member who promptly cleaned up the mess that I created. His composure and dedication were truly commendable. Please convey my heartfelt thanks and apologies to him — he deserves recognition for his outstanding service.
As for the food, it was absolutely exceptional. I have never tasted seafood like this in Singapore. Well done to Nordsee, highly recommended for anyone who loves seafood.

Recommended by a friend, that Nordsee served various seafood + wine, a must try at Viktualienmarkt. Well, i ordered grilled salmon with vegetable, grilled seafood platter & Paella. My verdict is that Paella was a bit wet but taste good (I believe the serving in plate prohibit moisture to evaporate vs serving it in a steaming hot pan) the grilled seafood platter is average, as the shrimp (with shell removed) did not release the typical charred aroma as it should. While for the salmon, I give a thumb up, as the fillet is nicely grilled & sufficient juice still intact & the vegetables, I must say it exceed my expectation, look like it steal the limelight of the grill salmon. The Oktoberfest atmosphere at the adjacent Biergarten spice up the dinning mode… overall great place to visit.

Inside the middle of market, All fishes, everything is seafood in store. Easy to order by seeing the photo menu. Taste is good, ordered two fish set meal, with potatoes besides. it’s fresh enough! Eat inside while not in peak hours, or hard to find vacancy.
