Today I visited Martha’s with my family. We were warmly welcomed, and the service was prompt and efficient. The establishment was very clean and offered a pleasant, inviting atmosphere. The food was flavorful and the prices were reasonable.

When I tell you that this experiences was top tier, it’s something a Michelin worthy!!! We had the best time. The food, music, service, speed, friendliness, all worth memory and something I will rave about for years to come. Elbia was our waitress and truly set the standard for what a waitress should be. Isabel is the hostess and remembered us by name and what a treat to be remembered. They both put a lot of passion into their jobs and something that really reminds us what valued customers we are and why this is and should be everyone’s favorite weekend spot! We will eat there regularly and often!

Martha’s Mexican Cocina is definitely in my top 3 favorite places now! I always judge a Mexican restaurant by their salsa, if the salsa is good the food is gonna be good. The salsa was so good that I purchased an 8oz cup to go!! Next the margaritas were a hit! It wasn’t too sweet and had the perfect amount of alcohol in it and I was told that the margaritas are discounted on Tuesdays. The food was cooked to pure perfection, the steak was tender and flavorful, very delicious. Last but not least, the service was outstanding. Our waitress was Nelly and she was so sweet and efficient and so were all of the other staff members. So overall my family and I had a great 1st time experience here and look forward to going back soon.

Me and my husband ate here last night after leaving Mi Cocina due to a 35 minute wait and no seating at the bar. While at the hostess stand, we were greeted by 2 very young kids. They were unprofessional and didn’t seem to know what was going on we asked to sit at the bar and they had to check and make sure there was room. They took us to the bar with no menus and we were the only ones at the bar top. There was only 2 tables with people sitting in there. The ambiance was lacking to say the least. It took forever to be greeted. The manager took our drink order, still without being given menus. The bartender seemed very busy but they weren’t busy. The margarita mix was watered down and flavorless. We only got 1 water for 2 people. The other manager came behind the bar and started making there mix for the frozen margaritas and then proceeded to take his shirt off while working. Extremely unprofessional. Yelling back and forth across the cocktail area about things he needed. Everyone was friendly but it was clearly not being run well. The food was bland. We had brisket taquitos, queso with ground beef and their nightly special of cheese enchiladas with beef fajita meat on top. It was just so, so. The bartender was hired most likely because she was the manager’s girlfriend. Although she did make a great jalapeno margarita, she just wasn’t providing great service. This place is family run and my take on it is that it’s being run into the ground by the brothers. The best thing we had was the shots of tequila. Would not recommend and not sure how they get good reviews at all unless the other people are used to eating bland food. Should have stayed at Mi Cocina.

The owner was there and she was so personal and friendly. The waitress was very attentive as well during our meal.
The place is clean, cozy and has a great atmosphere inside and out!
To start the chips and salsa were SO good! The salsa was flavorful but not spicy.
I ordered a frozen strawberry Margherita. It was a little strong but still very good. I love sweet drinks, so I always like more sweet over a strong taste drink.
I ordered the pick two and got a beef tostada and cheese enchilada with rice and refried beans.
The tostada was perfect. The shell was nice and crispy with all the fixings.
The cheese enchilada tasted great as well and not flooded in cheese.
Rice and beans hit the spot as well.
I am a huge Mexican restaurant snob, and this place for sure deserves all 5 stars.
We will be back for sure and I highly recommend!

I am not sure what happened, but the food used to be so good and the margaritas were fantastic. I went Thursday and got the steak on a stick. It was $19 for one skewer and the sauce was good, but the meat was such a bad cut that I couldn’t even chew it. Husband got the fajitas and same thing. The meat was tough that you couldn’t eat it. Margaritas tasted like lime juice with no alcohol. Not sure if there is new owners or the economy made them cutback, but we won’t be back

Went back again to try it one last time, had combination plate taco with chicken enchilada with poblano sauce and they didn’t put much on so when I asked for a small side (pointed at hot sauce bowl) they brought a cup and charged $3.95 for the extra sauce… and charged $1.99 for something else ???? wife had jalapeño soup, something had a form of msg before we left she was starting to have reaction and had to take her prescription pills to counteract it. Needless to say we won’t be back.
1st time we’ve been back since our only visit when they first opened this location many years ago….. food was good, I had Martha’s Nachos that weren’t bad, nothing great but not bad, they don’t give much pico for all the nachos, wife enjoyed her shrimp fajitas…. They have many shrimp dishes but no shrimp tacos so we asked and the waiter (who seemed fairly new) stated kitchen said they didn’t have stuff for shrimp tacos yet they have shrimp listed about 7 different ways on menu and tacos of other sorts, just not shrimp?? I don’t know….. anyway, she liked her shrimp fajitas. Salsa is excellent….

It is delicious every time we go there with never a wait to be seated inside or out on the patio! Very nice Christmas Tree in the lobby and this time the serve recommended a Spinach and Mushroom Quesadilla which was delicious! My son had his favorite Chili Con Queso with Ground Beef!

Martha’s is our favorite local restaurant, and our family eats here on a near weekly basis. The staff is attentive and friendly, and Elvia is the absolute best! Jade’s combo is one of our favorites, as well as the shrimp tacos and any of the enchiladas. The margaritas are also delicious!

We’ve been here before this year, but have almost become regulars recently. We’ve each found dishes we’re extremely fond of. There’s plenty enough to bring home for leftovers and it’s delicious. We’ve also been fortunate enough to have excellent service by Elvia who even remembers our preferences. We’ll return often.
