Dropped in during my island trip and wanted Vietnamese comfort food. I ordered Bún thịt nướng and a small appetizer—both were fresh, flavorful, and hit the spot. Prices are similar to (or a touch higher than) the mainland, which feels typical for the island, but the quality and portion size made it worthwhile. Service was quick, and the staff were polite and attentive throughout my visit. I’ll happily come back on my next trip. Vacation calories well spent.

Delicious food, excellent service! Food is ready so quickly… great for lunch meetings or if you’re pressed for time. I love the Nanaimo location (convenient and central) – makes it easy for me to grab a bowl of scrumptious Pho and spring rolls while running errands and getting my shopping done in the same plaza.

First time and first experience in this restaurant was quite awful and appalling the only reason i was even there in the first place was because i had a meeting nearby and wanted some food.i was shown as if i wasn’t welcome, no courtesy ,no respect , pure disdain on her face Maybe i wasn’t white enough for this restaurant because the lady appeared way friendly to other whites orSE asians.With me she didn’t even smiled or asked if i wanted to dine in or do a takeout . So i simply did a takeout and the food was 4/10 on a vietnamese level .

I had takeout so I can’t really comment on the atmosphere but I just spent $12 on one salad roll and the waitress taking my order made it sound like there was two salad rolls, but it actually was one salad roll cut in half. They also scrimped out on the shrimp and they put deli ham not Vietnamese ham into the salad roll.

Good service from Gabby and tasty food, however the Pho Gai ( chicken pho) is not as tasty as on our last visit. Our table group ordered a variety of meals which were generous portions. We recommend.

Rice platter was good, lemon grass chicken could’ve used more lemon grass seasoning.
Spring rolls was disappointing
•1st attempt- burnt spring rolls.
•2nd attempt oil they were using must’ve been old and needs to be replaced
-Outside tasted like old oil
-aside from that, the filling was delicious.
A man from the kitchen stood on the middle of the restaurant and looked at us. ( seemed because of the spring rolls sent back )
-was creepy
^ps was going to mention to our server but didn’t want the man to come out and give weird vibes and stares

Just got off the ferry and having dinner with my family and friends right now. I was surprised there was no vietnamese customers or servers!? However……once the food came out and I took the first bite, I knew the kitchen chef’s are authentic . If you are in Nanaimo, I do recommend it here.
