Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

When what tha turns into Whataburger it’s due to a couple of factors 1 being that not everybody’s open 24 hours anymore 2 they just about they’re certainly in the top two best straws given out for their shakes and that leads to 3 I can’t help myself. I always have to stop it almost every Whataburger that I see especially in the heat we have had recently even September was near unbearable with no AC in the truck so me and my dog get some shakes. I get the largest chocolate she gets a small vanilla now at this particular place here.‼️ it nearly became because when I ordered, I had some food I was getting as well at this time and I try to be clear so they can understand me. Sometimes the exhaust in my truck is a little too loud so I try to keep the truck positioned well for their speaker so they can hear me as well but the gentleman informed me in a Tax full manner that it might take five minutes for those shakes because one machine was not ready and the line I was in I was hoping that he wasn’t gonna wait until I got to the window to start the five minute wait the more I thought about it. Five minutes isn’t so long but sometimes it is if you’re sitting and others are behind you wondering why you’re still sitting there the other moment was when they asked me if my order was such and such at the window and I suggest and then didn’t have a positive look about it at first, but I think it was listening to someone else and trying to help them at the same time giving me the attention at the window so my four star is turned to five⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Came in hungry, left happy… and slightly salty (like the fries )
Tried the Pico de Gallo burger — absolutely tasty! The real game-changer? The ranch sauce — took the whole experience to another level

The staff was super friendly, brought everything to the table like pros. Only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the fries came out way too salty — like “ocean breeze in my mouth” salty . But they replaced them fast with no hassle, so major points for service.

Definitely coming back… and bringing an extra bun just for that ranch sauce!

We eat here fairly often, with them being our neighbors and open at all hours. We’ve been here for many years, and the food is consistently good, like a Whataburger should be. We love the jalepeno biscuits and chicken with honey butter, breakfast burritos are crazy good. All breakfasts here are good, hard to decide which ones to get. The new seasonal creamy berry drink is so freakin delicious. It has been responsible for keeping me out of hospital for dehydration on my sick days. I can’t drink water sometimes because of nausea, we will buy these and mix with a little sprite or 7-up and I surely hope they keep it on menu. The only problem we have with this store, is sometimes they don’t know how to make the drink with cream and bobas, forget to include a straw, it’s not worth taking down a star, these things happen. Sometimes the fries may be a little too cold or salty, but we have an air fryer and pop them in after knocking off a little salt. They seem to have a high turnover rate, but service is fast and done with a smile, and the rewards they offer on the app are great. My family is glad to have this Whataburger within walking distance of home. Please keep the creamy berry blast drink!!

Manager closed the drive thru and the inside was closed at 6;45 am. Lady refused to explain why it was closed. Horrible service! There was no problems at this location for it to be closed. No issues Whataburger is 24 hours except At this location. The manager walked the drivethru with her car as I was in the drive-thru. I have pictures.

On August 15,2025 @ 10:06am me and my neighbor went thru the drive thru and order two sausage egg and cheese taquitos. The wait was maybe 5 minutes, we get our food and we leave. After I took her to work maybe 7/8 minutes up the road I decided to eat my food as I’m driving. I take two bites into my taquito to find a hair in it. I call the store JODI WHITE picks up the phone I ask to talk to Keisha she goes in tell me I’m not supposed to call the phone nor come on the premises. (She doesn’t have anything in black and white saying this she just saying this out her mouth) so I drive back up there after I drop my neighbor off for work, I go in she approaches me shaking her head I’m like “hey my food has hair in it” she like “well you not supposed to be here anyways” I tell her “well rather or not I’m supposed to be here your employee serviced me and took my order let alone took my money” she goes to say “well still your not supposed to be here” I tell her “well can I have a refund and can I have cooperates number” she tries to be funny and began calling the number out very fastly I tell her “could you right it down please and thank you” she say “you try my to fight an employee so you not supposed to be on the property” I say “never tried to fight your employee and to my knowledge the lady doesn’t work here anymore and where is it at again in white and black with my name on it that I’m not supposed to be on the property” she goes to say “you come up here again I will call the police to do a Trespassing report on you” I replied so again it’s not in black and white but you have a bless day”

Worst costumer service , African women with Red hair working the drive through at 12/28 and then a lady in a black jacket was also extremely rude. Why hire someone who doesn’t want to work. As someone who works costumer service, we should really be held accountable how we treat others. But of course no one will be and it’ll just be another entitled costumer trying to get their way . Hope you find better workers with positive attitude

Good morning, the lady working the drive-thru this morning has the ugliest attitude and worst customer service. In addition to that the biscuit bottom was so hard I had to throw it away. Whataburger is not cheap so we expect better good and service.

Welp drove up, walked in, and wanted to order some burgers. Instead got coldly turned away quickly by the manager because she said they were “only attending people who drove up in their cars through the drive through.” Not sure why they won’t serve people on foot inside the store but what a waste of time and effort. Crappy attitude and service

Nice clean place for an older resturaunt. Employees were helpful and polite. Food was hot and well put together. Bathrooms were clean. Parking was easy.
