My only real gripe is that the unlocking mechanism on the conveyor belt. It was a little difficult to operate. The dish kind of just got shot out when you open it. Waste of sushi just ended up ordering from the iPad. There’s a bit of a wait but at least your food won’t fly off the belt.
This is a well run restaurant. All the servers are knowledgeable about the food and super friendly. They will also check on you occasionally.
No beers on tap. Only have Sapporo and Asahi liter bottles. Only 1 sake selection. Their kizami wasabi is horseradish based.
For 2 bottles of beer, a handful of toro, and a LOT of other nigiri, our bill came out to be $102 including tax. My husband and I were definitely full and happy.
Average cost for 2pc sushi is $3.75 which seems reasonable. Besides sushi, Sushi Rev’s menu also includes specialty rolls, carpaccio, izakaya and beverages. There are a number of different truffle sushi offerings and each is served with just the right amount of truffle flavor – rich in umami but not overpowering. I recommend pitching in $2 more and trying their fresh Toro. Sushi Rev also offers a few sushi dishes which contain strawberries…I’ve never tried strawberries on my sushi before and I didn’t start today. My daughter enjoyed her go-to items: salmon sushi and ebi tempura. Restaurant patrons have the option to pull dishes directly off the conveyor belt or order from the tablet at their table and watch as their order is delivered directly to their table!
The standout feature of Sushi Rev is undoubtedly the quality of the fish. The cuts are notably fresh, thick, and flavorful, putting them a step above many other revolving sushi restaurants in the area. Whether you’re grabbing a classic salmon nigiri or a more adventurous specialty roll from the conveyor belt, you can taste the difference. The rice is also perfectly prepared and seasoned, complementing the fish without overpowering it.
However, the popularity of the restaurant means a significant wait time, especially during peak hours. Be prepared to wait for a table, as the high demand for their quality food often leads to a long line.
Once seated, the experience is a bit of a whirlwind. The conveyor belt is constantly stocked with a variety of plates, and you can also order specific items from a tablet. Our waiter was very attentive, perhaps a bit too much so, as they seemed to be constantly checking our table and scanning our plates. While we appreciated the prompt service, it did feel a little intrusive at times.
Overall, the good food makes Sushi Rev a worthwhile visit. The fresh fish and well-crafted dishes are the main draw, and despite the long wait and the waiter’s constant plate-scanning, it’s an enjoyable and memorable dining experience.
The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, even with the recently opening day rush. You can tell they’re passionate about the food and the vibe they’re creating.
Between the delicious variety, the energetic atmosphere, and the smooth service, Sushi Rev is already a standout.
If you’re in the area and love sushi, and you want to have fun experience- this place is a must-try. I’ll definitely be back… probably sooner than I should admit.
There are three separate conveyor belts that have sushi cost $3.75 and a separate tablet at each table to order rolls, izakaya options, or other sashimi not on the conveyor that get delivered to you on a robot. The amount of fish they give for each piece is so so good especially for the price and the fish quality is so good and consistent! My favorites were the toro and avocado salmon. The salmon crunch and baked Alaskan rolls were large and very filling!
We ate roughly ~8-10 plates and 3 rolls and the total ran up to $80 which is a solid price for 3 people who were really full and satisfied. Really recommend this spot, would try to go during off peak hours! One thing to note is that they only served complimentary miso soup during their soft opening so they no longer offer that anymore.
