Ok, so here’s the thing… the food is really good and I would absolutely come back again for the food. What really puts this review low for me was our service and the small portions for the price. Its loud and cold inside, almost too cold for comfort.
Our waiter seemed disinterested in serving us or answering questions. You would think with the event downtown they would try harder tonight as they are far from the crowds. I wish there was more clarity about the water. It was more expensive than the beer… overall would come back, but be aware of the “class” they are trying to push. The odd gift shop doesn’t help.

Contemporary small seafood restaurant. The calmari was an excellent with two sauces a remoulade and seafood sauces. My companion said the chicken tacos and the seafood chowder were excellent. The al andulus seafood stew was absolutely fabulous and reasonably priced. The flavored iced teas are a real plus too

This place is simply amazing from the food/drinks to the outside atmosphere. If you are having date night with the wife or gf this is the place to go. They have the best calamari I have ever had. The Oxbow burger was so mouth watering and delicious I had to send my compliments to the chef lol. My wife had the shrimp roll which she enjoyed as well. We both had a few drinks. I suggest The Pilot it’s fruity and goes down good with the food but has plenty of alcohol in it. The price range is around $30-50 depending on your appetite and if you have a few drinks.

We hosted a Christmas party on the 2nd Floor and it was fantastic. Everything from setup to teardown was a breeze. The staff were lovely, the food was great, the venue was clean and spacious. We hosted 60 guest with plenty of space. Thanks for a great time Ox Bow!

Stale atmosphere. Food is way overpriced for quality. The have strong ingredients added to food not listed in the description. Tastes like Indian food. Burger and fish are safe to order. Its weird walking through empty gift shop to get to waterfront dining. It is useless in my opinion. They could have made a front bar or something more useful. Kids area for example. Male server lacked any form of warmness or personality.

I wish I could remember the Server’s name because this was definitely five star service. I had a salad and we added blackened grouper. It was excellent. I would definitely return.

For an Oceanside experience that even the locals can enjoy… don’t miss the Oxbow Bar & Grill in Ft Myers!!! Enjoy majestic views of the harbor and delicious dishes served with a smile!! Make sure you ask for Corinne!! She will make sure you leave happy!! Make sure you leave room for the delicious Key Lime pie!!!

Decided to meet for lunch at the Oxbow with guest from out of town. we were looking at the merchandise inside the lobby, How could a simple cotton dress be $300! The hostess met us with a smile,then we enter into the dining area we sat inside along the window, which was nice. The river view was great! Let me warn you ahead of time do not drink the water that they give you! . It had the most Disgusting taste I wouldn’t serve it if I were them! We mentioned it to our server and she just shrugged her Shoulders and said yes, it does taste bad. Three of us ordered the fish and chips and actually it was very good. The other ordered a burger medium and it came out well done. Unfortunately our service took a while. It seemed like they were shortstaffed. Our waitress did not come back to check on us very often. This was our second try at the Oxbow and unfortunately, we will not be back not to mention that they do have a parking lot, but the city of Fort Myers seems to want to put signs on every spot and make you pay extra for parking! By scanning on your phone for park & pay. Loud atmosphere inside . Sorry, I really was hoping it would be a better experience

We got a drink and some shrimp from their appetizer menu and it was good. Service was fast and the views were great! It was quite busy so I would recommend reservations especially if you want a good seat by the water!

Had such a great experience at Oxbow! The food was on point and the atmosphere made it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a good meal. The service truly stood out. I want to shoutout Tony went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us. You can tell he genuinely cares about the guests and their experience. Highly recommend Oxbow if you’re looking for great food and even better service. We’ll definitely be back!
