I nor my friend have never been asked to leave from a restaurant before!!! I and my friend were left wondering, “Did we do something?” They said they were open until 1:00 am. When we gave the woman our order, she never asked if we wanted beef or chicken taco’s and flauta’s. When I asked the woman she said that they only had beef. I then said that we both want chicken. The woman made a funny face like we were putting her out of her way to change beef to chicken on the register. It was 11:29 pm when we paid for our food. So we knew that we had plenty of time to sit down and enjoy our meal. We were sitting at the table waiting for our food. A young man came out with a bag of food and sat it on our table. I said, “We didn’t order it to go” ? Then the young man told us that they would be closing in 30 minutes because they have someone coming to clean. I and my friend just looked at each other and thought it was odd. The young woman that took our order never said anything about that they would be closing soon. I noticed when we first walked in the young woman and young man seemed to be saying something about us, and that seemed unusual to me. My friend and I were both quite offended by this interaction. As far as the food goes, it was okay, but I certainly wouldn’t give it even a 2 star rating. I would NOT recommend this Mexican food restaurant to anyone. I would like to add something to this review that I think is extremely important. About less than 2 hours both myself and my friend had a bad stomachache, which caused us to be in the bathroom one too many times. May have been a mild case of food poisoning, but definitely not a good sign.

Ordered food from this place over the phone because I was working. I ordered 2 California burritos and 3 rolled tacos and she told me it was 39.00. I didn’t question her on the price because I was in a hurry and was starving. 5 minutes later, I picked up the order and I paid her. Again, I didn’t mention anything because my buddy and I were very hungry and didn’t have time to go anywhere else because it was around midnight. As I opened up my California burrito, it was thinner in diameter as usual. I take a few bites and as I get down to the middle portion, I noticed there was only a small portion of carne asada. My 3 rolled tacos were good, but again, the amount of guacamole they placed on my rolled tacos was approximately a tablespoon. I was very disappointed in the portion sizes for the carne asada and the guacamole, and there was no Pico in the burrito. I certainly don’t mind paying that kind of money for food, but if a customer is going to order a California burrito, I would expect to find a decent amount of meat in my burrito for 39.00 dollars. I think next time I’ll take my business elsewhere and get what I pay for and not spend an exurbanite amount of money on takeout.

Been coimg here for years but this will be that last time. Noticed that over that last few times I’ve eaten here quality has gone down especially with their carne asada. Just tasted like basic beef pieces without the authentic mexican marinade. Was so disappointed with my $20 super carne asada fries. Even though their items are well sized, doesn’t really make up for the bland taste.

Very disappointed. First of all the prices are outrageous! we paid 18.75 for ONE order of carne asada nachos. When we received our meal, hardly any meat!! I asked the counter person to please add more meat because I can’t pay 18.75 for the nachos. The meat is different and tasted steamed. We have eaten here before and the carne asada was much different. The chunks of meat were grinded and not cut.(Like they bought the cheapest meat and did a rough grind). The chips were very greasy and the cheese minimal. With a drink and 1 small bag of carrots(which they charge for now), our total was almost 26.00! We will not be back. I’ll go by a steak dinner at any other restaurant than eat this substandard food.

Don’t waste your money! 1 been Burrito. 1 Carne burrito with a tiny amount of meat. Chips cheese and quac with a Pitiful amount of brown quac on top of some cheese that melted in the chips . Which I specifically told them Not to do. $45!!? LOS Jilbertos is 1000% better. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY . And I use to be a regular here before it went to crap

Found two strands of hair in my burrito last time I came here and the person helping me I think was the owner (a lady) was rude. I asked for more things in my burrito and she was trying to fight me about it. I said it’s okay she could charge me more for the extra stuff I was asking. Then when I go to pick up I say hi and she says WAIT really rudely. No hi no thing. Paid 25$ for a burrito and a soda

Rough to see what’s happened over time. 18 bucks for a breakfast burrito is wild. They used to make the best burritos. Soggy fries and a pound of sour cream made it so I couldn’t eat it. Probably my last visit here.

It’s conveniently close to my house. I used to work two doors down at planet Beach for two years and so it was always my go to place they’ve expanded their restaurant so it’s even better plus they enhanced and upgraded their decorative features, appliances, furniture and they added flat screen TVs that show you in high definition the full menu and it looks very inviting. I think they’ve done a wonderful job In the past couple of years of remodeling.
Although, I think the management should do something about the loitering because coming in by yourself at 1 o’clock in the morning as a female and there’s a bunch of men staring at you from the outside in front of the place and that are not even eating, is a bit intimidating for even walking in that’s why I gave it four stars, but if it wasn’t for that I would give it five ‘s. it’s a great place. I am very happy they are still in business. Keep it up guys!

First time eating here, ordered the asada burrito. It was so flavorful, the meat was tender juicy and well marinated. It was delicious. All meat, guacamole and Pico de Gallo no filler(rice). The young lady at the counter was polite and helpful..
