I watched my ordered cheesy hot dog (added bacon n relish) cooked! it came with this thick grilled white bread minus the hot dog bun. With a mix of fries n rings (could’ve been cooked longer!) can’t forget the coke. It was a hot mess! but it was so delicious the cheesy dog with bacon n relish!
The food and staff were amazing very friendly and accommodating! Highly recommend for a step back into vintage atmosphere

We commend the West Springfield White House staff! Shanti, Violet, and Dallas welcomed us with open arms quite late into the work day. They were professional, courteous, and fun conversationalists all while they were preparing our order.

The food here is EPIC! Teeny tiny place. Very little, next to no seating but we were MORE than ok to eat in the car. Ordering is super fast and if you can’t make up your mind they’ll help you. They have an incredible system to get your food to you FASSST! And you will never be disappointed. I love how every month they have a “specialty” milk shake. My all time favorite is the chocolate cherry they had. It’s far away from me but I make an effort to get there every chance I get. If you haven’t……WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR! SERIOUSLY…GO ——>

The burgers taste good BUT are really really SMALL. They are perfect toddler size. But for adults, to fill up You need 3 or 4 burgers. So the price doesn’t seem so good then for a family of 3.

I have been traveling to Springfield MA for about 11 years now. Well I finally got a change to try this place. The burgers are amazing, french fries were awesome. Great and friendly staff. Atmosphere was very laid back and relaxing. Thank you to all the staff that was there tonight. You guys did an amazing job!

My husband picked this spot on our way out of Springfield from other reviews. He was a bit disappointed with his burger patty size, it’s thin, and not sure he would go back. But I’d say my chicken strips were the best I’ve ever had. Our son had the hot dogs, and liked them…they are Nathan’s. Onion rings were perfect and fries very good. Over all though the price value was good.

They were out of footlong hot dogs. How can you be out of footlong hot dogs? As a hot dog place, that serves burgers and dogs, you are out of the footlong variety. If there is a foot available of anything, I want it. Especially when it comes to my weiners.

Joint has the old school nostalgia feel. Cashier was great and was helpful, after she herself stopped eating. Menu was simple and I have a feeling I could really get silly with the mash-up, but I was still startled when the footlong was off the table. I did order a regular dog and the option of American cheese or cheese sauce once again took me for a ride. I just didn’t know what to say.
In the end, I was very pleased they have a half onion ring and fry bag. And I was pleased with the dog. Although it was served sideways in the clamshell, and I had quite the mess to deal with.
The flat top is layered with grease, which was both amazing and frightening to see. The burgers are fine but the diced onions and cheap bun were not the greatest. I almost did not eat it because the burger was just a touch more pink than I like. Waiting for the free diarrhea to follow in a few hours.
I don’t like shakes, but they have plenty. Prices were a bit high once you start adding on extra toppings. Reminds me of the evolution of a place in the south called Cook Out. But not neatly as good.

Food looks and smells good. It’ll probably be the best hotdogs and burger of my life tbh but the attitude i got from the lady after I ask for a cup of water seemed unwarranted. 1 star for service. That young man needs to learn some manners.

White Hut! Oh boy, this place holds so many memories! I remember going here with my aunt and uncle when I was a little kid, and the delicious burgers have not changed one bit. I love how they make them right in front of you—and how they always cut the ladies’ burgers in half, haha! This is a must-stop if you’re anywhere near West Springfield. Open since 1939, and I hope for many, many years to come!
