Catfish House

This place is great! The service was fast, the lady at the register had a great attitude, the food was fresh and delivered in a timely matter. My kid is a picky eater and he devoured the shrimp kids meal. We all had a cookie after that they have at the front by the register and boy it just closed out our meal with a gold metal! That cookie took me back to my childhood school cookies except the chocolate chips on these are way bigger. Will definitely be back soon!

Whole lotta Colada

We went to CATFISH HOUSE for Easter, and overall, it was a really good experience. The food was great — we had the chicken po boy and the fish basket and both were cooked well. The breading had a really good flavor, although I will say there was a little more breading than fish. Still, it was tasty and didn’t take away from the meal too much.

The service was excellent, especially considering how busy it was for the holiday. Our food came out fast, and the staff treated us very well. I definitely enjoyed it and would be happy to come back again. Great spot for a good meal and a nice experience!

The fried catfish was delicious great flavor, just small fillets. Grilled salmon also had really good flavor and the rice it came with too. The burger was ok. My father orderd the shrimp, he doesn’t mind it not being deveined. I on the other hand prefer it cleaned out. He really enjoyed them and my daughter too. Over all great place to come eat everything was cooked, seasoned well and tasty. Service here was great very nice and helpful staff. We will be coming back.

Definitely will visit again. We purchased the whole grilled catfish with the rice and vegetables, fried okra which was great, fried green tomatoes and catfish and shrimp platter. The grilled catfish which is what caught our attention from another instagram review was very good and prepared well. Definitely an excellent choice. The fried catfish was light, crispy and prepared well. The dining experience was really nice for a Sunday afternoon. The customer service was excellent. We really enjoyed the food and yes they have real lemonade and all the fishing items and quotes made me smile. Thank you

Catfish fillets are just ok. All other food is disgusting. Nothing is fresh or warm. Really bad customer service. This place is so money hungry, not worth the price at all! The oysters are the nastiest things I’ve ever eaten and they charge a lot for them and they make you want to puke. Stay away from here. There are much better seafood places, these people have no idea what they’re doing

Customer service was amazing! However, the food was not. I went in today and ordered a 2pc catfish basket with a salad. The catfish that you see on these reviews is DEFINITELY false advertisement. The fillets are so thin and small you’d literally thing it was a kids meal. The seasoning is very bland (little to non). But on another note, the kool-aid and tartar sauce is good I guess. They could do a bit better on the fish especially for the quantity and quality of their selection for the price they are charging. Wish I could’ve gotten my money back because it surely was not worth it. OVERALL I WAS CATFISHED!

These people don’t smile but they do greet you. They move like A.I. The french fries were the only good part. The catfish fillets [all fried] were very thin as stacking 2 nickels. Catfish fillets are double the thickness anywhere else. No catfish wild flavor. The breading was light. The oysters x3, only one actually had an oyster, the other 2 were morsels or a piece of a whole oyster with mostly heavy breading. The most disappointing SHRIMP…obviously from FROZEN as well, rubbery as chewing gum like a cheap jumbo cocktail shrimp had been frozen, boiled, breaded and fried. Is that what you did? All the flavors were flat and bland like old school throwback hospital food. WHO WROTE ALL THESE GREAT REVIEWS that led me here?! I think most microwave Americans just don’t have a palate for real food anymore.

Had a tasty shrimp basket with 6 shrimp and fries. Called this order in via phone. When i arrived there were 7 people in line. Manager did not mind refreshing my fries as i had to wait to get to the counter and pay. Very good food and good, friendly service. I eat here often and will continue to do so.

Plate Expectations

I really enjoy the seafood here. They also have a few other offerings like fajitas, but seafood is their specialty, of course. The food always tastes fresh and everything is made to order. I definitely recommend the grilled fish and grilled shrimp.
