I was there with my Mom and my nieces yesterday. It took 15 minutes after we were seated for a server to come take our drink order and they were not busy at all. One server walked by our table as we were waiting and just kind of glared at us, like we were an inconvenience. My 5 year old niece was told she could not order the cookie that went with her meal until after the meal. My mom and I both ordered the turkey and stuffing with choice of two sides- I asked for the herbed rice pilaf and seasoned green beans, and my Mom asked for the rice pilaf and seasoned asparagus. When it came out, the rice was a sticky clump of brown minute rice with zero flavor and absolutely no seasoning at all. My green beans were brown, like they had possibly been on the grill – they definitely were not seasoned and tasted burnt. It was the same with my Mom’s asparagus. The turkey was dry and the little bit of gravy that was on it was baked onto the turkey, as if it had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. There was no fresh liquid gravy on it. I didn’t eat my rice or beans and only ate my turkey and stuffing because I was so hungry and needed something. My Mom did not eat her rice and only ate about half of her asparagus. My nieces order of breakfast potatoes with her Benedict was about 15 potato cube pieces, and when my 5 year old niece was finally allowed to order her chocolate chip cookie, she took one bite and said “Mom it’s too hard, I can’t chew it.” This was a horrible experience and put a damper on the good day that we had been having up until we stopped here. We will not be back and will not be recommending it to anyone else either. And we were not loud, rude or demanding. We did not complain once or ask to send anything back to the kitchen. And we still left an appropriate tip for our waitress even though she was rude to our 5 year old ($15 on a $73.00 bill is a touch over 20%).
When visiting this location, ask for Liz’s section and tip her well
I had to try it again.
This time it was much better, there was a host and a waitress, the lady who served me was professional, I received my complete food order. I didn’t know they warmed the pecan pie, I didn’t mind. It was delicious.
The place was busy, but my waitress didn’t forget about me, thank you.
I’m glad that I gave you another chance, btw, I love your desserts, it’s always an issue to choose one only.
But that’s the only issue I want.
Tysm.
