Servers seemed inexperienced with customer care and had zero hospitality.
The food looked very much like the pictures on the menu but when you bite into it , there is no taste. Its very disappointing. The only tasty thing I had was the pancakes. Won’t ever return.

Fantastic Breakfast & Outstanding Service from Alexandro!
IHOP on Lancaster Hwy is one of the best breakfast spots in South Charlotte. The food is always fresh, hot, and perfectly cooked — pancakes are fluffy, coffee is strong, and everything comes out just the way you order it.
A special shout-out to Alexandro, who made the whole experience even better. He’s friendly, attentive, and genuinely cares about his guests — checking in often, keeping drinks topped off, and bringing great energy to the table. You can tell he takes pride in his work, and it really shows in the service.
If you’re near Ballantyne or Waxhaw and want a great breakfast with friendly faces, stop by this IHOP — and definitely ask for Alexandro!

I ordered via Uber Eats… I didn’t receive my salsa or sour cream that I paid extra for on 2 meals. The portion of hash browns is half of what we would receive dining in and more expensive due to Uber Eats adding more for services. I do not recommend ordering takeout from here. They will keep their upsales from us and cheat you on portions since they can get away with it. I can’t drive right now and needed food—- the least thing they could’ve done was read the order and provide decent portions. I recommend this establishment provide togo orders with the same amount of respect and value as they would if one would dine-in. This is not okay.

Unfortunately the food was terrible. The crepes were gummy and tasteless. The consistency was off they were wet and terrible I spit it out. The hash brows were old and hard I couldn’t eat them and my steak was terribly over cooked. The A-1 was a dirty bottke with 1 drop left, I didn’t touch it. There was no employees on the floor, at the check out no napkins nothing. Where are the employees??? Even for IHOP this was unacceptable. I really wanted something sweet but Unfortunately this was not it. Corporate needs to come in and teach how to cook steak, hash browns and crepes. Rock Hills location is much tastier maybe they can help. Also there is an Ant issue by the windows so sit in the center or away from the windows. They did take 4.50 off my tab for the hash browns and crepes. I’m not sure where you can buy hash browns or crepes for 4.50 but ok

Our server, Kyle H. Was very attentive and very helpful and had a great attitude. The food was amazing. It was hot and fresh and delicious and the management was super friendly and very kind. This is definitely a place I Recommend to anyone who wants a yummy meal for breakfast with their family. I think I just found my new favorite IHOP!

The restaurant was short staffed. My wife found a hair in her breakfast. The waitress did give us a refund on my wifes breakfast and was very apologetic. My omelet was over cooked and had a strange burnt taste and smell. The pancakes were rubbery. I have been to many IHOP restaurants in the past and usually had a great breakfast.
I was disappointed with this restaurant and the cleanliness of it. It looks tired and has some booths with ripped vinyl. The floor was not very clean either. I had to ask the waitress for clean silverware as there was dryed food on them. I hope they can fix the issues to better this restaurant. I don’t like to complain, but If you don’t say anything, the company can’t fix the problems.

Fast friendly service and good food!
I have a family member recovering from surgery and she had no appetite and she desperately needed to eat something. I suggest suggested I get IHOP takeout for breakfast because she’s always loved IHOP in the past and I thought the smell and taste of the food would make her feel good.
I went to the IHOP on Lancaster Highway in Southeast Charlotte. I walked to the door and the young man manning the register opened it for me and gave me a good morning smile and a welcome. The other team members I encountered all smiled and said good morning. I wanted to order my food there so it would be hot when I picked it up.
My food was ready in six or seven minutes. 15 minutes later when I got to my sister’s house it was still warm and it was all packaged so the pancakes didn’t get soggy and the eggs and the crispy bacon did not get soggy. As soon as she smelled it she sat down and started to eat and she ate every bit. I also asked for a side of blueberry compote in case she had taste for that with her pancakes, and she did eat some!
We will definitely be back to this location!

The server at this location was super attentive, he was efficient and worked quickly to help his assigned tables. The pancakes were not fluffy at all, in fact they were overcooked and tasted bland. The smoke sausage was average at best. The coffee was excellent. Better IHOPs in the area as far as taste/food but again sever was great. The reason for the three stars.

We went on a weekday around 6:30 pm. It took about 5 mins for us to be seated and we were met by Cindy (possibly the manager). She had a welcoming demeanor and sat us quickly. She wasn’t phased by our minor impatience and continued to talk to us while getting our drink orders. We were there for my teen’s bday and Cindy went above and beyond to make her feel special. We were 1 of 2 families in the whole restaurant, too! When we got our dinner, everything was amazing, hot, and tasty. It was probably the best ihop meal we have tasted in the Carolina’s and we’ve been to several in different states over the course of 20+ years! We are extremely picky eaters and can criticize all day long, but Cindy and the chef (props to you whoever you are) knocked it out of the park! We will be coming back!
