A dinner-only, casual restaurant with a serious approach to seafood and beer. We let the fish and beer be the star.
We ship the highest quality seafood direct from both coasts. We work the local cheese, bakery, and farming industry to create seasonal starters and side dishes. Our chefs focus on three different cooking styles: pan roasted, fried, and wood-grilled.
Our certified beer specialist selects 16 beers on tap to showcase the flavor profiles that enhance our fish. We also craft a mean cocktail and provide a small but well-balanced wine list featuring our local favorites. We like to keep it unassuming, yet creative–our focus is on the fish. And beer.
The 50 seat casual, cozy and approachable Oysterette is right at home in RINO.
Oysters, grilled fish & creative seafood plates in a tiny, retro-toned space with a full bar.

Holy smokes Batman! Fish and Beer is such a vibe! The cooks are absolute rock stars, and you can really taste the care in every dish. The food is amazing, super fresh, never greasy, and clearly made in-house. Everyone there is so nice and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. The key lime pie is spot-on and tastes just like Key West. You definitely have to try this place!

Had a celebration dinner here! Oysters were excellent, fresh and grilled. The almost amazingly caramelized scallops! Halibut was good, but those scallops tho!! Incredible key lime pie.

Everything from the staff to the food was perfect!
The staff were friendly and attentive, and the seafood was delicious in both preparation and flavor.
The dishes were absolutely worth the price, and I left extremely satisfied.
If this place were closer to me, I’d definitely be a regular.

Like too many places in Denver, this restaurant prioritizes aesthetics over quality. I want to start out by saying the service was flawless, our waitress was attentive, personable, good at her job, no complaints there. However, whoever cleaned and shucked our oysters had hate in their heart. We got a combination of eighteen raw oysters from the East and West coast and I have never chewed on so much oyster shrapnel in my life. Nearly every oyster we had was gritty. The entrees (Spanish Octopus and Brown Butter Sage Scallops) were good, not great. That being said, we really enjoyed the Chips N Guacamole From the Sea. Overall the experience was mid, I was really looking forward to the raw oysters and was deeply disappointed. If you’re looking for a good oyster spot this is not it.

We got the salmon, calamari and shrimp. All above average. The salmon was a little bit under seasoned. We also got drinks. The Tini was really good. We finished with the key lime pie. It was ok, but a little too sweet and definetly not what i was expecting since there is a big hype around it. The buscuit layer if the cake was terrible. They need a make over of it

Update: disappointed, overpriced, and inconsistent portions afted a 11 out of 10 experience yesterday. Staff was slightly different also. We brought a group of friends only to find the sea scallops were small and few, for $35. The “full size” fish and chips filet at $22 was a single and barely larger than the happy hour. Staff’s response “its based on weight” was misleading and not consistent with yesterday where we saw three larger fillets on the dinner portion. Food finish and flavor was also not the same. Place is okay, but I WOULD NOT return based on the gamble of the experience vs. the price and quality.

We really enjoyed our experience at Fish N Beer! The service was truly incredible: friendly, attentive, and thoughtful. The food was amazing, especially the salmon entree with gnocchi. And the key lime pie is a must-try if you are here! The only thing we weren’t crazy about was the house made ginger beer; it was quite bitter/medicinal and lacked the warm, spicy ginger flavor. Overall I would definitely recommend checking this restaurant out, it’s a hidden gem with delicious seafood!

This place was incredibly amazing. The food is fresh, you can see the kitchen from your seat and see all the live action. Oysters are to die for! And some of the best mussels I’ve ever had from a restaurant.

I was visiting Denver with a friend and had a hankering for grilled fish and vegetables. I decided to choose this place instead of Water Grill, no regrets!
We came for the Alamosa grilled bass, but ended up enjoying the crab stuffed cod and grilled oysters more, even though the bass was still fantastic. So that’s really saying something LOL. The key lime pie martini was great! I had to stop myself at 1, otherwise I’d order like 5, but I wasn’t driving so like whatever. Maybe next time.
The only thing we had a tiny bit of trouble with was getting a table. We called 30 minutes ahead to see if we needed a reservation. They said on the phone that they’d probably have a table open by the time we got there, so we wouldn’t have to make one – but when we arrived, they asked if we had a reservation, as there were no tables available. It wasn’t a huge deal, because we got sat at a community table right away, so that’s why I’m keeping the 5-star.
I definitely will be back the next time I’m in the area!

The host was so sweet and was able to get us in at the bar without a reservation on a busy Friday night. I really appreciated how accommodating he was. The atmosphere is so fun- the music was great and everyone is so lively. The food was great- the fried fish is wow! Attached a photo of my Caesar and smoked fish dip. Thanks for a great night!
