Bob Evans Down on the Farm is in New Stanton. A great restaurant. I usually go for breakfast any time of day (I happen to like breakfast food for lunch and dinner, not to mention breakfast). The atmosphere is very welcoming. Clean parking lot, sidewalk, (even the restroom), tables, everything inside. The service is outstanding. Very pleasant and efficient servers. In the spirit of meals, “WELL DONE.”

Food was delicious, and our waitress was great. We were the second party to arrive in the lobby and there were easily 20 parties that came in after us. Not a single party was called for in over 30mins. Once we were seated, only half the restaurant was even occupied. Probably a staffing issue but not smart to suddenly seat 20 tables at once (poor kitchen staff).

If you are looking for a tired and run down branch of a dying brand…. This is the place for you. During an ill-advised lunch visit, I was informed that I would not be getting the French fries that are normally part of a fish sandwich order, because they were out of french fries. It was around noon, and there were about six diners in this place… It’s hard to imagine there was a giant rush on french fries earlier in the day. The nice waitress offered that I could pick another side, and I picked onion rings per her suggestion. She delivered a small portion of broken burnt onion rings with my bland fish sandwich and charged me for the onion rings. I guess the joke was on me.

This place stands out not only because they have the most kind servers but also because of their varieties of food they serve. We arrived here after checking in at our nearby hotel and tired after a long day of driving, and a bit sick, I wanted some healthy varieties besides some ‘vitamins’ to put in me: I made the mistake of choosing some fizz as they did not have fresh juices/smoothies I need but as the server brought it to the table I realised they served milk. She insisted on bringing the milk instead: you do not see that everyday – this is the sign of a truly caring person!!!! Our meals were both OK and feeling better we went back to the hotel. Thank you Bob Evans for your amazing staff!!!

While on a long road trip, we decided to give Bob Evans a try as we had seen locations all over. Needless to say, we were disappointed in service and food quality. We waited forty minutes for our food which was unremarkable. At the end of the meal, rolls were delivered. Thank goodness as they were the highlight. I doubt we will try this restaurant again.

First time trying Bob Evans- good first impression! It was a nice, welcoming place and the people there seemed like they have that southern hospitality and made sure we had everything we needed. I ordered the Honey Butter Chicken and it was amazing, would definitely order it again. I got mac n’ cheese for the side, though, and it was cold. That may have been my fault for not eating it quickly, but who knows. The biscuits were probably the best part, our waitress gave us extra biscuits and I definitely had my filling of them. Overall, would come here again and it was a clean, welcoming place.
