This place gets a . Food great service great. I had the soup today the BEST…. Had Turkey burger it was good. But that Soup cream of chicken. UNREAL good. Great tips and chicken barbecue the best. Gryro wow. They need to be on TV cooking show..Again 100 stars.

Placed an order for a gyro sandwich.. went to restaurant to get food.. get all the way home & this is not what I ordered. I am so mad! I can’t believe they gave me this dry sandwich.. no sauce, lettuce, wrong bread! Spoke with Roy & said he would fix it but I don’t feel like driving at 10 at night. So we got the Gyro dinner and large Rib tips meal and it was every bit of AMAZING, these were by far the best rib tips I have ever eaten. I was blown away the Gyro was delicious meat tender full of flavor. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. The staff had me laughing at counter, they were very polite and definitely made you feel welcome and very much showed appreciation for eating at their establishment. I will be back A LOT more. I am telling everyone I know to try this place.

Found this place on the way back home from Oak Park after my first stop for an Italian beef (Poor Boy) had closed early for the night and I’m glad I did.
Ariston makes a decent beef sandwich with soft bread, a nice serving of sliced beef, excellent tasting au jus and good giardineira. The medium fries and beef combo that comes with a canned drink was just under $15 which is a bit pricey but still not bad for the quality. Their crinkle cut fries are delicious and we’re served crispy and piping hot.
I luckily got in a little after 12:15am and was able to beat out the last minute rush as a good 5-6 cars pulled into the lot after I ordered. I don’t think there would have been much of a wait even I had been a little later though as my order was ready in less than 5 mins. This made me a little worried but like I mentioned the food ended up being good.
The staff were not necessarily friendly but I wouldn’t characterize them as rude either. They just seemed to be really dialed in to get through all the orders which I appreciated. The interior is pretty lived in but it’s not overly dirty or anything.
They have an almost ridiculously extensive menu so I can’t say much for the rest of the food but if a good beef and fries late at night is what you’re looking for Ariston is a good option.

Not an exaggeration…this is the best dang-diddly “yeerro” in town! Perfectly charred meat, pita is warmed well on the griddle with a bit of oil. Too good to describe, but I wish I could for you. Just make the trip when you have a hankering for this Greek treat.

So food is good as usual. But I come here a lot. The stuff I order seems to be going up each time I come. I’m paying $30 for 2 meals now and it’s not adding up. They keep the prices updated on the board. But when he went to ring me up I did calculations it’s over 15% extra he is charging for what?!! Tax is not that much. The receipt does not have a detailed print of everything he is charging and they take that and run!!! DO MATH ON YOUR RECEIPT HOW MUCH EXTRA WERE YOU CHARGED THEN THE AMOUNT ON THE MENU?! U can even see the price he puts on the cash register for the food but where does the extra charge come from?? I’ve been seeing this a lot lately here.

Long-standing comfort food restaurant. They have regular and hungry man specials based on your appetite at reasonable prices. Bathrooms are dinky, I accidentally hit the hand dryer twice with my ass trying to get in and out of it..

I’m a huge fan of the Dagwood from Mister Js near Loyola Law. – But this place is awesome too. Great selection. I ordered the cheeseburger. I saw some couple order a huge fish burger. Next time. We’ll done. I would of bought a tshirt.
