My first time visiting, could have gone a bit better. I’m all for equal opportunity but if you can’t speak English maybe being a server isn’t the best job. Our server was very friendly but couldn’t understand us. We had to repeat several times. Then we got our food and it was mostly correct. Now this isn’t our servers fault on how the food came out, but our meals were supposed to have beans and rice. It came out just rice. When bringing this up to our server she didn’t understand what we were saying. She brought a side of rice and beans out. Instead of two sides of beans. When we wanted to pay we didn’t get a ticket. So I asked to see the handheld device that had the ticket broken down. She charged us for a side of rice and beans. My husband had used what Spanish he knew to explain that our orders were supposed to have both. So she took it off (obviously). So really in all I never got my beans and left feeling not heard or understood.

I ordered the combination fajitas. Pretty cheap price and you get big portions. The chicken and the shrimp were excellent, the steak was pretty bland and somewhat tough. However, there was enough chicken and shrimp to just eat that and have a good-sized portion without even bothering with the steak. I also ordered a pork Taco which was small but quite delicious. The one thing I would not recommend is there a shredded chicken burrito. It is $8 and I ordered it expecting a burrito sized meal. However, what I got was about the size of an enchilada if that. Very little meat for the price. Their menu is quite varied with lots of selections, including things I would say are not typical of your average Mexican restaurant. The number of choices will keep me coming back just to see what else I can get.

It took a while for a waiter to take our order, but once he took it the food was at our table at lightning speed (about 5 minutes). Food was ok. The margarita was the worst I’ve ever had. It tasted like a mix of crystal light and kool-aid.

For the price it’s been hit or miss, depending on who’s working. I order doordash delivery and some days the a la carte options are stuffed, other times like tonight the portions are tiny. I ordered an a la carte burrito with nacho sauce, (8.25$) with an extra portion of ground beef (3.25$) and specified in the instructions that there should be extra beef and extra cheese. For a total of 11.50$ for one burrito, this is what I received. Thats almost entree pricing. Very disappointed tonight. The sour cream cup I paid for also was forgotten. Hit or miss, I’ve had good orders and some bad orders. Don’t expect special instructions or even paid extras to be adhered to. HOWEVER THE DELIVERY HOURS ARE FANTASTIC and is the only late night mexican delivery in the area.

Pretty good Mexican, probably the best sit down near Purdue. The staff are very nice and the plates are traditional, drinks are large, they have a classic Mexican bar.

Went there to give it a try and I will be back. I got a order of Texas Nachos to go and they were ready in just a few minutes. For me this was lunch and the amount was enough for two lunches. If you were ordering this inside as an appetizer it could probably keep 6 people happy. Might try and go.back next week.

Sit at the bar for good service. We ended up with a phantom waitress who completely disappeared after she took our drink order.
So we got our chips & salsa from 1 waiter, our drinks from another, we placed our food order with the bartender, was served by the chips and salsa guy, then at the very end the phantom waitress re emerged to give us our bill.
We asked the guy who had been our waiter if we could tip him instead of our phantom waitress but he refused.
So if you are going there, I’d recommend seeking a table in a man’s section rather than a woman’s, or sit at the bar.
