I took my team to Red Ginger last night for our holiday dinner. The restaurant was rather loud, however, that is to be expected at hibachi. Our chef was very nice and to be honest his service was fast. I don’t know if I was hungry or what but it just seemed like he wasted no time getting straight to the point. While the food was very good. the chef was heavy on the garlic. I also would’ve preferred extra egg in my rice, but I guess I didn’t ask nonetheless I’ll be back. They would’ve got four stars however, the waitress forgot to add gratuity to my first bill and ran the card, and then proceeded to run the card again for the second transaction with the gratuity added. So yes the card was run 2x. I found that to be annoying as she had to avoid the original transaction.

We ordered our food to-go it took over 40 minutes to get done. Our mistake was not checking our order before we got home. The salad I ordered was nothing but lettuce. No balance, no toppings, no value. Extremely disappointing, especially considering the menu description and price.

A typical eatery of its type. The food was on par. The smoke removal system did not work well. (Yes we have eaten at this type of establishment before). The staff were great and oyr chef was hilarious.

Good experience all around. Food tasty except for a bit excessive with the ginger dressing on the salad. Only other “issue” was my wife didn’t want both rice and noodles. We’re guessing the noodles came with the vegetables, so they ended up giving here double rice. Not sure why they just couldn’t leave the noodles off.

Very friendly and attentative server. Salad was fresh, crisp with excellent ginger dressing. The onion soup was very flavorful and hot. Had the chicken teriyaki dinner. Perfectly cooked chicken and vegetables with a very good teriyaki sauce. Highly recommend.

I went to the bar for the sake and a draft special. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. It was early and no one seated yet but Val✨ the bartender was great company. I had hot sake and it was perfect. he sake I have photographed is cold and one of the bartenders fave if you’re looking to try something new.

Went for a friend’s bday… haven’t been there in years…staff was very friendly…or cook didn’t say anything or entertain us at all but the guy behind him at the other half of our group (red jacket…dangly earring) was so cool…funny and engaging…our cook literally just cooked our food…he said nothing and looked like he didnt want to be there…waitress was nice but because its loud she got my order wrong…if you can’t hear…call the order back to be sure because that was a meal that went back and was probably throw away…apparently a few people at my table complained that she got their order wrong…and it took so long for me and my sons order to come from the kitchen that everyone was done eating by the time our food came out…I ended up just not eating…ugh!! But everyone had a great time otherwise…

Took one of my friends here for her birthday! It was a great experience. The food was great and the portions were worth the money. The only negative thing I have to say is that they need new chairs. The cushions as no longer comfy. Other than that I would recommend it to others because I do plan on returning. Bonus: they validate the parking ticket for the parking deck directly across the street from them.

When we went in, we sat at the table. It was very slow. There was only one other person in there. My main issue is with the food. I got the steak hibachi with clear soup. And my husband got tempura udon, which is the soup. The first issue was he thought it was going to be chicken tempura because they had an option for that. But always just never specified or ask us which one we wanted so it could be on us for assuming but as a waitress and it being our first time that should’ve been disclosed. We don’t eat pork or selfish so that was an issue. The rice that I had was not flavorful at all, and my steak was overcooked. The only good thing about the meal was my clear soup. It was piping hot, which I love, and I had a good flavor. Next next issue was on the menu under kitchen entrées as well we found the tempura udon and it said that all kitchen entrées come with soup and a salad as well as rice. Our waitress charge us for an extra side of rice and when you explain to her that we thought it was part of it because it was under the kitchen entrée. She said that it was different. Again, that should’ve been taken off because we had no way of knowing and she didn’t clarify. Also, again it was our first time she never came back to ask how the food was. She did come refill our drinks. When she took the plates away all of my steak was gone but 3/4 of the rice remained and the shrimp tempura on my husband‘s plate had been left untouched. I’ve been a server before if I had seen a plate like that I would’ve asked if everything was OK or if we didn’t like something. I would’ve taken off the side of rice that I was charged for due to not knowing the menu and it being under the menu Saying that rice came with it. As well as taking off a discount for the total bill just due to the entire experience, the food not being up to par and hardly touched. Not a big discount but something to show that. Hey we’re sorry you didn’t enjoy your time but we hope you’ll come back and give us another chance. I’ve also been a manager and a director of operations, so I understand how these things work and what customer service looks like and this just wasn’t it unfortunately. Our bill came up to $70 and due to the additional charge of rice and no consideration being taken for an unfinished meal. We won’t be back but will be sharing our experiences with anyone else that mentions them.
