Came in for a quick bite before a movie and had a great experience. Summer was an amazing server! She was friendly, attentive, and efficient. She kept our drinks full and made sure we stayed on schedule so we wouldn’t be late for our movie. I haven’t been to Hickory Tavern in a while since we no longer live on that side of town, but it definitely didn’t disappoint. The food was fresh, hot, and delicious! The atmosphere was clean and all the staff was pleasant. Great experience! Oh yeah, get the charred bee sting wings!

I was hoping the negative reviews were wrong. Food is overpriced. I saw our waitress once and she rushed us so fast that even though I repeated my order she still got it wrong. Asked for mayo, none, asked for sweet potato fries, didn’t get those. The Mac and cheese is Kraft box Mac and cheese that you can buy for a little over a dollar, not worth it. Their mayonnaise and ketchup have high fructose corn syrup.
To the manager: I urge you to buy the condiments without HFCS so your customers aren’t ingesting an ingredient that has negative long term effects.
Look up what high fructose corn syrup does long term. Then avoid any place that serves it. Find another place for lunch and spend money on better service, food and your diet.

First time visiting the food was great, the appetizers and entrees were fantastic. The service could have been a little better but overall good place to go eat and drink. Plenty of TV’s all around. Definitely recommend giving it a try

Tonight I went into Hickory Tavern for an early dinner. While Carlton my server grabbed my drink, The manager Autumn came out to introduce herself and tell me about their Wednesday night trivia and half off wings special. After deciding on wings and a salad, Autumn recommended I try the lemon vinaigrette and I was not disappointed. The food came out fast, was very good and the atmosphere and customer service were definitely top tier. I will definitely be back.

Poor service. Came in around 9 pm for drinks and our waitress was nowhere to be found most of the time. When it came time to pay, we sat for almost 30 minutes before she came and took my card and check. I would be more understanding if it was busy, but it was dead. Maybe 3 tables at best and a half-full bar. Very underwhelming.

Don’t miss this place!!! Wasn’t planning on a burger(Diablo), but so glad I did. It was excellent! My FIL had the fish and chips and gave it high praises, hubs had a burger as well.
