Las Fajitas on Thompson Street was great! The food was delicious and fresh. Service was a little slow, but nothing major — the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed. Definitely worth a visit!

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at any Mexican restaurant. The server was terrible, didn’t want to even be there, said two words to us. Took 45 minutes to get enchiladas that were cold and had no sauce on them whatsoever. Just skip this one.

I will start by saying we like Las Fajitas, it is consistent every time we go. However I recently ordered a tortilla soup. The soup cost exactly the same as a Steven special, which was $9 dollars. I forgot to take a before picture. But the soup serving was definitely not worth the $9 dollars. The smaller container is the soup portion compared to the Steven Special. And as you can see the portion did not even fill a small bowl.

We have been going to Las Fajitas for almost 20 years. We have always loved the staff and the service. One of the main reasons I have always chosen to go here is because they have some of the best tamales. We always go once a week for the tamales, but over the last few months the tamale quality has degraded. There are multiple times that the ends of the tamales were crunchy and inedible and this last time the tamale was barely bigger than a Hormel canned tamale. Very disappointing and I hope that this comment reaches someone that can help make an improvement.

Service was great. Fajita meat was 90% tendon and fat. Carne asada was $20, paper thin, and tough. It was like chewing on leather. Rice had no flavor and beans were subpar. Complete waste of $65. Shan’t return.

On my first visit I went for lunch and was seated right away. Our server brought chips and salsa out. We place our order and it was out in like 5 minutes. How!! Food was warm and it came with free queso. I enjoyed it.
I enjoyed it so much I came back 2 days later. The place wasn’t too packed. The service was a bit slower but still good. I caught the happy hour. Love the $3 margaritas.
I waa visiting the area for business but I wish we had a place like this back home.
I do recommend and will go back when I’m in the area

This place is usually fantastic however, my last experience was sub-par due to poor service. After waiting for our food for over 30 minutes, it came out cold. The server did not return to our table for another 15 minutes so cups were empty and there was no time left in our lunch break to have the food reheated. 5 stars nine times out of ten but, since I did still leave a 20% tip, I feel entitled to share my experience.

“Their cheese dip is lit” -my dad.
I’ve had nothing but good experiences here. The interior of this restaurant is very nice and open, and the staff are nice. I got the cheese dip for an appetizer and it was pretty good. Nothing special, but still tasty. For my meal, I got beef enchiladas with rice and beans. Everything was good. Not much else to add.

Pretty decent Mexican food. I don’t say it’s authentic but good flavors. Place has very nice looking. Staff was courteous and attentive. Food was brought up fast and was really surprised. The menu could be a little confusing. There is no separate sections for taco, tamale, burrito or chimichanga. Had to spend a hot minute to go through the menu. We had fajita quesadilla and burrito. Right portions and right flavors. $3 16oz margaritas are the beat. They are dangerously good.
