Been on my bucket list to try a Tony apackos restaurant. It met my expectations and more. The menu was pretty varied and included the signature dog, roast beef sandwich, pierogies Chicken Parikas, fried pickles, cabbage rolls, meatloaf among other items and even some good looking desserts. We tried the signature do which had a great snap and the chili was really tasty. Also we tried the chili cheese pierogies which were very flavorful and had the perfect balance between the chili cheese and the potato in the pierogi. Lastly we had the roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes smothered in gravy. Roast beef was fork tender and the gravy was a great accompaniment on top of the potatoes and the sandwich. Also had all the different deliciis pickles from the pickle bar. This is definitely a great affordale family friendly stop that is a step above fast food in experience and quality but with a price tag in line with fast food.

a- The gal at the register was amazing! She was patient and kind… to the point where I was like she must be great with kids. I only get to come here once a year when I’m in town ( If I’m lucky) and I normally prefer the old Front St. location, but the customer service here made up for that. I was having trouble deciding on a side because who doesn’t want to literally order EVERYTING…. But she helped me narrow it down and I was pleasantly surprised. My parents live in Sylvania and according to my father, this gal is always top notch. I regret not getting her name.

I was passing through town and thought I would try the fast food location of Tony Packo’s.
I was pleasantly surprised with Chicken Paprika. It tasted and was just as good as it was at the original restaurant. I love spatzle and this good. I also added a loaded (chili, mustard, and onion) Hungarian dog and it was equally tasty.
Very good for as fast as it came out.

Jack schoen…..the guy serving me was an absolute boss. The bushes in front of the establishment gives you the feeling you’re at a michilen star restaurant. The giant swinging doors are also a great start to the experience. The atmosphere is one of if not the best for a “fast food” restaurant. The decor really tells a story and flashes the accolades. The food itself is what you would expect. Its solid, nothing to rave about however its solid if your craving a dog. The service was amazing, jack’s smile at the register lights up everyones day. This place will shock you and 100% worth a visit.

As someone born and raised in Toledo, I am embarrassed to say this was my first experience at Tony Packos. We got an order of fried pickles and several chilli dogs. The food was unbelievable; these are not normal “hot dogs.” You could taste the smokey flavor underneath the chilli (which was amazing itself). The server (drive thru wimdow) was just the sweetest guy ever. He made sure he heard us correctly and just seemed happy to be there! We will most certainly be back. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, and thanks for the amazing meal!!

We used the drive thru because I had toddlers with me. The chicken chili nachos were as yummy as ever, but the Mac n cheese here is not the same as the originals packos. Most of the food does not taste the same as the originals packos. That’s my biggest issue. The service was great and got everything we ordered. The staff is super nice here.

Newer/modern Packo’s but still serving the classic cuisine. Glad that they are still in Sylvania after closing the older one in Monroe St. I always order the classic hungarian hot dogs that all the celebrities have ordered. But their stuffed cabbage and fried pickles are a must try.

This is my favorite Tony Packo’s restaurant because it has a drive through. I usually get their hot dogs, pickles and apple strudel. Last trip they had the MOAD (iykyk). Great chili on the dogs and fabulous food. If you like hot dogs, please get there.

It was just ok. I grew up in Toledo, but have lived away for years and I remember Packo’s fondly. When I got there, I was disappointed to see that it looks like a fast food place. The atmosphere was boring and cheesy while the Packo’s dog and chilli were just ok. I was disappointed and should’ve kept my memories of the place in tact by not going there.
