Had a great pizza at Grumpy’s. I highly recommend their Chicago-style pizza and their crispy onions strings! Honestly the best I’ve ever eaten! The back patio dining is so cute and dog friendly too! Very family friendly atmosphere. My husband and I loved it!

Good food, but bad service and the atmosphere is an old dirty bar. The menuvwas large but the Philly was good and the fries were good.

Look at the pics, there is a sign in the bathroom that says they will prosecute you for vandalism if anything is thrown down the toliet. Um… Ok?!?

I ordered the fish & chips. My wife ordered the Philly cheese. The fish & chips were okay. It would have been nice to be able to substitute out the coleslaw. My wife enjoyed her Philly.
The place had a good atmosphere, the lighting and table situation were satisfactory. l noticed there were a few tables full, enjoying themselves. I probably would stop in again. It would be nice if the waitress was a little warmer, maybe a smile.

My husband and I have eaten here on a number of occasions, after finally deciding to give it a try. The pictures I’m posting are from more than one meal and don’t encompass everything we’ve tried. The pizza is next level good (we’ve gotten it multiple times). My husband loves the burgers. Last time I ordered a Cuban. Oh, my heavens, it was delicious. This restaurant has become one of our favorites.

Was surprised by the food, it was delicious.
I believe the wait/bar staff was a little shorthanded but the food came out pretty quick. Bathroom needs some work. Door would not even shut or lock.

You need to go to this place and get their Double Decker Pizza. It is without doubt the most incredible pizza that you can’t get anywhere else. That includes any Deep Dish Chicago Pizza anywhere on the planet. It is one incredible pizza. The service was also top notch. You need to travel from anywhere in the country to try this pie.

Lil side of the road joint. ‘Beef on Weck’ was tasty, as were onion strings.

The food was horrible! Philly cheesesteak was way too salty. I got the French dip and couldn’t eat it so I ordered sliders and they were raw. Left hungry. Otherwise, bartenders were good and it was fun

While driving by, I saw their signage advertising Chicago style pizza. Not deep dish, which is peddled mostly to the tourists in Chicago, but thin crust similar to travel style. Well, I finally got the chance to wander in for lunch. I decided to get one of their ten inch pizzas topped with sausage, and cheese sticks as an appetizer. The cheese sticks came out quickly. They had a good stretchiness to them, but tasted a little starchy like they were slightly under cooked. The marinara accompanying them for dipping was pretty good, and had some shredded cheese (Parmesan I think) on top. Soon after, a piping hiyt pizza was served up. The cheese was meh and baked golden like a proper Chicago style pizza should be, with a nice, crispy, cracker thin crust. It was cut into square slices (be advised you do have to request it be cut this way or they’ll pie cut it), and topped with big chunks of delicious sausage. The sauce was the right consistency, and brought it all together nicely. The pizza was definitely good. The server was friendly, courteous, and attentive. I did bust her chops a little bit about the place having the pizza but not the beer (Old Style) from Chicago. If you’re looking for Chicago style thin crust pizza, you should give this place a try. If you think deep dish is the only Chicago pizza, you’re probably a tourist or from the north burbs.

Our waitress was full of knowledge about IPA!! Was able to try a few new drinks. Plus Saturdays are two dollar bloody marys. They are pretty good. Our waitress also suggested we try to prime rib hoagie. Top notch!! A+ Then we ordered the sausage hoagie!!! OMG, nice sausage patty that actually fit the whole bun. Packed full of flavor. I was impressed. Can’t wait to see it after the remodel. We will be back.
