I’ll admit I have a weak spot for Indian buffets, and this one is extremely affordable (around $22/person).
But beyond that there was a great selection of great dishes. I loved the cold pasta salad, Onion Pakora, Chicken Korma (bone in chicken covered in sauce – SO flavorful), and the cliche but winner the Butter Chicken (extremely rich in flavor as well).
Great naan and the dessert of coconut cream and rice as well. Everything made fresh, you can watch them tossing naan into the tandoor oven in front of you.
• The butter chicken tasted more like tomato chicken, lacking the rich, creamy flavor it should have.
• Both the dal tadka and dal makhni were underwhelming and didn’t deliver the depth of flavor you’d expect.
• The chicken itself felt stale, which further took away from the experience.
Overall, while I appreciated the friendly service and pleasant atmosphere, the main aspect—food—was not up to the mark. If you’re looking for authentic and flavorful curries, I’d recommend exploring other options
Their buffet turned out much better than I expected. The buffet choices were great. On the day I tried their buffet, they had 4 veg curries/lentils, 2 chicken options, 2 rice varieties, 1 bread option, 1 appetizer, 1 dessert and a few condiments. No conplaints on the main course choices, appetizer choice could have been more. Food tasted great! Their chai was great and refreshing too.
We went there around 7pm on a Saturday and they were full. For a restaurant of their size, they seemed to be quite popular in the area. The manager helped us with a table as soon as ne was available and she was pretty nice to check in on us for some conversation later while we were there. All in all, a great choice with a good buffet!!
