Was ok for frozen food. Pretty sure was frozen and i didn’t see the cook battering the fish. Would I go again ? Meh… maybe if i was on that side of town and there was nothing else. Been wanting to try for years and now I have. Nice staff though!

Food was absolutely delicious but it took an hour and a half for an order that they told us would take 25 minutes. I’d like to say it was worth the wait because the food was just that good but that really was a terribly long wait for many people tonight. Plus I watched at least four people trip going out the front door, there’s a bad step there.

Hola Peeps!
Visited this place on a whim while we were in Tucson recently. We were coming from services for a dear friend and hadn’t eaten til it was over. I was craving fish and chips. I had my son look up somewhere to go to on Google. This place raved 4.5 stars. We decided to give it a shot. The place was small, no frills and right to the point. Inside were simple booths then the kitchen, small in comparison to other places most definitely. We ordered and sat down with our drinks. Within minutes our food was ready. The food was of nice portions the shrimp ,fish and chicken tenders we ordered were appealing. I was pleased of the portion size as our usual fish and chip dining experiences have dwindled. Were coming from Phoenix our go to spots include “Pete’s and Knockkneed fish and chips” Lately however portions and prices have definitely gone through changes! This place didn’t blow our socks off but we were satisfied. Even having more than enough to take home with us on our way back home. The experience was decent and we’d go again whenever we’re in Tucson again.

dropped in after work to go check this place out, because it looked like a real Tucson original. The sandwich I got was two tilapia fillets, apparently hand dipped in panko, judging by their fresh appearance, flash fried and slapped onto a hamburger bun with a squirt of ketchup and a little bit of dill pickle. A little bit of lettuce or some shredded cabbage would have gone a long way in filling the sandwich out. another half a star taken away for any lack of hot sauce, which is unfortunate.

$10.60 double fish sandwich

If you’re looking for great fish that isn’t overly salty but still packed with flavor, this is the place to go. The service is quick, usually taking about 10 to 15 minutes for exceptional, fresh fish. The combination of old-school and modern, respectful service makes this my go-to spot for fish in Tucson. This place has been around since the 1950s! ❤️

Hi my family ordered this food for a good dinner but it wasn’t quite up to our standards last time we ate their it was pretty good this time it was a bit dissapointing. We ordered and took it home we didn’t get all of our bread which isn’t that of a big deal but the bread was burnt fries were cold and the bread slices were really thin, the chicken and shrimp were burnt and dry.

My husband and I came here because he wanted fish. We opted for take out. We get home, so many things went wrong: 1. the paper bags the food was in were so greasy as soon as I went to lift the food out the bottom fell apart. 2. The hush puppies(4 per order) were cooked so long they were almost black, same with mozarella stick (3 per order). 3. The combo order 1 was also almost burnt, as was the combo 4, and the steak strips was also dark, you picked up one and all the breading fell off. The fish was so bland, no seasoning on it at all. Even my husband said that, unusual for him. 4. The amount if french fries given (crinkle cut) was so much you could have fed 6 people and they were greasy not seasoned. My dogs refused to eat them and they love fries.
How long has it been since the oil has been changed. The oil should be changed at least once a week since most of their food is fried.
The only thing that was actually good was the drinks. I stood at counter, not even recognized as one was person was on grill and the other was on fryers. The one on fryers saw me standing there, but did not acknowledge me whatsoever. It wasn’t until the one on the grill brought an order to the counter that I was acknowledged. Only 2 cars in parking lot when we arrived. When we left only 1 vehicle.
Food was horrible, service was horrible, definitely will not be back.

Lucky Wishbone and Long John Silvers can’t touch this place. The food is absolutely deeeeeeelicious! It is definitely a must try! The service was the best, quick but old fashioned genuine service! And a very peaceful, family friendly environment! Loved it

Not too impressed with our meal. Shrimp and fish were was underseasoned. Scallops were overcooked. We ordered to go. No tartar sauce. No lemons. Not feeling Sue’s.
