We had our wedding lunch here, in the private room. The Wolsey coordinator was incredibly helpful, kind and patient throughout the whole process. The lunch was absolutely delicious and the cake (made by their sister restaurant The Delauney) was PHENOMENAL! Couldn’t be happier, thank you so much to everyone working there for making it a great day!

We held our wedding reception at Bellanger, and it was fantastic from start to finish. The private dining room was elegant and perfectly suited to the occasion, with a warm and relaxed atmosphere. The food was superb — beautifully cooked and presented — and the service was polished and professional, while still feeling friendly and personal.

Everything ran so smoothly, and the team made the evening feel effortless and memorable. We couldn’t have chosen a better place to celebrate with our friends and family.

Been coming here for years, so glad we still have this lovely neighborhood restaurant with us! Prix fixe remains excellent value, and the quiche is still the best in London by far. Riesling by the glass is very good too. A place that aims to please all appetites and preferences, and succeeds in doing so. Even more dog friendly inside now than previously, which we love.

Gorgeous food and lovely atmosphere. We were looked after by AJ (it was her first night) and she was wonderful and attentive. Hugely friendly and professional. We will definitely be going back again.

Facilities:
I made dinner reservation so once I got there I was seated promptly. The atmosphere is a bit noisy. The decor looks a little retro but can be appreciated for the quaintness.

The restautant was at capacity and so it was very loud between everyone chatting and the background music, but you can still have a conversation at your table. There is also outside seating available.

Food and drinks:
The food was satisfactory. Bread was served complimentary, we had superfood salad for appetizer which was excellent. Steak and Cod for mains.

There is a good selection of wines, liquor and cocktails.

Service time was pretty good despite the restaurant being packed- between ordering and serving was about 15-20mins for starter and then served mains within about 10mins after they cleared the table.

Price
I would say this is an affordable restaurant depending, average £100 for 2 without drinks.

Negative:
The restaurant allows pets, during my dinner at 8pm there were 2 massive dogs inside a in the vicinity of my table. The dog owner kept moving outside and inside the restaurant with these 2 MASSIVE dogs! They were flashing and licking themselves sprawled out on the floor inside the restaurant. At one point one of the waiters nearly tripped over 1 of them.

I just think food and dogs should not mix, you cant get dressed up for dinner and then inside the restaurant just to have dogs flashing themselves off in the air in the enclosed environment like that. Not to mention if someone in there was allergic to dogs!

I will not be going back just for this reason.

I’ve been going here since it opened. Through its closure and then it’s refurb and new owners. It’s ebb’d and flowed a little, but right now it’s pretty good!

The service is good, the food is always high quality and the wine isn’t too pricey. If it’s quiet it can feel a bit empty, but on a busy night, with its great lighting, it feels like you are in the heart of Europe.

Our waitress was accomdating and very friendly. The food was great and the service was fast. Even got complementary chocolate at the end . Would definitely go again came to just over £100 for two meals a starter and two glasses of wine which I feel is very reasonable.

A Perfect French Brasserie Experience for a first date!
Popped into Belanger for a drink last weekend with my first date and was so pleased that we did. The moment we walked in, we were struck by the authentic Parisian brasserie atmosphere.
The real highlight, however, was the service. It was genuinely attentive without being overbearing.
It’s the kind of place that makes a simple drink feel like a special occasion. I’ll definitely be back, perhaps next time for a full meal. Highly Recommended!

Absolutely loved every single bite! Visited today for my fiancé birthday and had lunch.
The service is lovely, team is so welcoming and accommodating that you can’t ask for more. Food arrived quick and it was so delicious that I still think about it. Their whole restaurant is stunning space. I hope I’ll be able to visit again as I live more than an hour , but honestly totally worth it , so definitely will do my best to come around and bring friends soon.

It is slightly overrated.
I would say 4.0 – 4.1 max. But amazing stuffs and great service !!

We had chicken schnitzel , Steak, green salad and profiterol.

Profiterol looks really good but not tasty. The bread/pudding is chewy and the cream inside is not very thick.
