La Milpa has delicious authentic Mexican cuisine. The food is well seasoned and served quickly. Ordering maybe a bit of a challenge for a non-native Spanish speaker but the staff is friendly. The atmosphere is very rustic but that is part of the charm.

This place is perfect for a late-night snack since they’re open 24 hours. I went with a group of 20 people around 2:00 a.m., and the staff handled us with excellent service, which was impressive for that hour. I ordered the lengua burrito, and it was really good—tender and flavorful. The only thing I would mention is that the tomatoes were a bit too much for my taste, but overall it was definitely enjoyable.

Been coming here for a while and the food is always great. If you come during the last weekend of the month, they do stewed pork. It is EXTREMELY fatty, super stick-to-your-fingers, collagen heavy meat that’s avaibale in the back. Give it a go – it’s extreme by itself, but it comes with onions, cilantro, lime, and salsa to cut through it.

Great place, if a tad strange when you first walk in. As soon as you open the door, you’re greeted by a bodega-esque shopping experience before going to the counter to order your food. I got 4 tacos, one lengua, 2 pastor, and one chorizo, which were all excellent paired with the various salsas they supplied as well as the dos equis which was gratis thanks to me taking advantage of their taco Tuesday special, which allows you a single free cerveza upon ordering at least 3 tacos of any kind.

Owner reached out to inquire and to apologize for my experience. Was offered a meal on the house which was a very sweet offer and shows the professionalism and desire to correct the situation. The Quesabirria tacos was a complete 180 from first time. Probably in the top 3 of my favorite quesabirria I’ve had! Delicious, crispy, all the fixings (salsa, onions/cilantro, consumé, ect). The rice and beans were fresh and delicious. The churro was way better and was nice and soft on the inside and crispy and sweet on outside. The downside however- my husband wasn’t interested in trying another torta after last time so he got the Cameron’s a la diablo. They didn’t look anything like the menu picture or description. They used tiny shrimp, the sauce was more watery than the picture, and there was no pico or “salad” as the description had. The flavors were still really good he said and he really enjoyed the beans as well. Overall, I would be happy to go back for another order of quesabirria and churro! The last 3 photos are the new ones.

Ordered delivery and the quesabirria was awful. They were flavorless, they were missing the onions and cilantro, barely any cheese, doesn’t seem like the tortilla was warmed up, and the consumé was just water. Torta so greasy it leaked through 2 bags don’t bother wasting your money!!

This is a terrific little independent Mexican Market and Restaurant! The market has unique Mexican themed items and a huge amount of spices. The restaurant was quaint with a delicious mix of Mexican foods. Two lunch entrees, two drinks, a dessert, and tip came to under $40. Plus, a restaurant with tasty Mexican food AND Lucha decor?! How can you not check this place out?!

Come on. $10 and you can make 10 of these. The cheese isn’t even melted to be considered a quesadilla. $14 for this made is insane in my opinion
