I was in Columbia on a work trip for the state fair. I met a local couple at the fair . We talked about good food and burgers. He and his wife asked where I stayed then told me if I wanted a good burger Luckies was the spot. After the fair one night, I stopped by Lucky’s The ladies were great . I had the BLT Cheese burger, Fries, and Sweet tea. Very good and large portions I also enjoyed the live music and atmosphere.

I was a little skeptical to visit, but once we got in there, it was really welcoming and nice. I got to experience shucking oysters and had a really good time. Did I mention the burger was exceptional!!!!!! we will definitely be back! I was so busy eating and experiencing Lucky’s that I didn’t get no photos this time! ☺️

Prices are good. Food was good, atmosphere was good. Seems to be popular with locals . We saw families eating brunch, golfers and bikers. Glad we stopped and would visit again. The service was not great and really was not sure who was waiting on us as 1 person took our order, another brought our food and we flagged a third one down that was waiting on the table next to us, to ask for drink refills. Took a long time to receive our check and pay with the 3rd person. It happens, so I would still recommend this place.

Worked in Columbia YEARS ago. Regularly ate and did business lunches here. Returned here after maybe 5 years… THE SAME BEAUTIFUL, COURTESY and PROFESSIONAL WOMEN- serving the tastiest and freshest food. Its only change was MORE regulars coming for the best local experience close to Columbia. (Irmo), great little local catering to all locals and those who just happen to seek it out.

What an amazing stop! For sure a locals hangout. Atmosphere is fun. Southwest eggrolls were great, the sauce is yummy! Chicken tenders and burger was a hit with our kids. I had the blue cheeseburger with chips, husband hot bbq wings. Fries are hand cut and great, chips are divine!

Food is good. Prices are great. However you have drunks working behind the bar and unless you are buying them drinks or just close friends with them, the service is horrible. Won’t ever be back.

Visiting for the summer, waffle house disappointed. Spotted Luckys across the way. We were welcomed immediately. Also a great lunch for the grandkids! Great staff and the food was definitely affordable and delicious! Appreciate the service we received! Plan to return for sure!

Went here for New Year’s day, walked in(stone cold sober) was immediately greeted by Beth(easily 65 years old), I placed my Drink order and she asked me for a card for a tab, I informed her I was paying cash, she then preceded to ask if I was “OK”, which of course I was. She then brings me a shot when I ordered a drink and I corrected her about the mistake, she says OH YEAH. Then she started looking around and acting disoriented, no big deal I didnt care, so I notice her whispering to other employees, meanwhile im just hanging out watching the football game, i order another drink from a different bartender, then she ask me if im closing out as im handing her Cash, i said no I pay cash.
So, I went to order another drink and the bartender(maybe 21) starts questioning me on where I had been, if i was driving and informed me she had been informed that I maybe overly intoxicated (haha what a joke) the drunken old lady Beth embarrassed about messing up my drink order and confused as to why I was paying cash had told all the other employees to “watch me”.
Which brings me to this point, that old lady is too old to be behind the bar because her judgement skills are obviously dated, secondly, the overly young 2nd bartender has none of her own judgement capabilities and was just following the leader. Pretty sure I was just judged bc I wasn’t a “regular”.
I didn’t slur a word, didnt stumble(stood the entire time), didnt close my eyes, was just coming in to enjoy a drink and try this place out bc I had a great experience with 2 other bartenders a week or 2 prior.
I would not recommend this place to anyone unless you go with a “regular”, bc the drunk old bartender Beth will look at you and determine if she likes you based on appearance, and will make up whatever she has to the validate her feelings. Im pretty sure it all revolves around Beth, but the other bartenders need to be able to make their own judgement calls.
It wasn’t because I looked or acted intoxicated, it was bc I was new to her and she was embarrassed she screwed my order up and I guess she thought cash paying customers are odd.
Don’t go here if the Beth is working unless you want to be evaluated by an intoxicated disoriented old woman who has no business being behind a bar.

I ordered the double cheeseburger with provolone cheese, lettuce and tomatoes and fries, OMG the size of the burger was huge and the fries are delicious as well. I loooove The atmosphere it’s definitely great for taking a date, hanging with friends or just a chill night alone and the service here is great and I was able to park my tractor in the parking lot which was a definite plus for me. I definitely found my new spot for when I come home off the road

Dont let the outside looks fool you, the place is very chill with great people and really good food. Parking can be a challenge, but its worth it. The staff is really great and super friendly. Definitely going to go back.
