My two daughters and I had a wonderful experience. Food was yummy, sitting was comfortable, atmosphere was great. But I will give the most credit to the young lady who was serving us. Her name was Nora, and she made sure that we don’t get a chance to feel even a bit less than WOW. Thank you so much.

****Amending this review.**** The store owner reached out to me and we had a productive conversation. He was very concerned about this interaction that we had at the restaurant. He invited our party to return which we did. This was a totally different experience and was excellent. I really appreciate that they cared enough to reach out and the next visit was outstanding.
The server informed us that she had worked there for several years and was delightful for the first several minutes until dramatically changing her tone. It was like being scolded by a teacher. It wasn’t her comment to only talk one at a time which is a reasonable request. It was the way she delivered her curt response telling us to basically “shut up”. It wasn’t our intent to talk above one another to make your job difficult. It did however make for an uncomfortable exchange. She demonstrated two completely different personalities in a passive-aggressive manner. We are 4 vintage friends who were enjoying a much-needed evening out and we were scolded by the waitress. I appreciate servers and restaurant staff and I consistently tip well, but I also expect to be treated respectfully.

Came in for dinner and overall I enjoyed the experience. I wasn’t impressed with the appetizer menu change. I was definitely looking forward to having Ahi Tuna as an app. I ordered the new Spinach & Artichoke Dip instead. The chips were extremely salty but the waiter Max had no problem getting me chips minus the salt. I probably would have just used the bread for the dip but I was never brought bread or offered any. Maybe I was supposed to ask?? For dinner I ordered a 6oz Filet medium rare, rice, and sautéed mushrooms. The steak was cooked to order but it definitely lacked flavor. Over all my waiter was attentive but I had a couple of togo containers but wasn’t given or offered a bag to carry my items in. I asked a hostess and she kindly brought me a bag and togo silverware which I appreciated because I’m traveling.

So we went to the outback in Harrisonburg VA.
Ordered a cobb salad no eggs which was fine. Waitress said she would get them for me. She never returned with them. The other person had a salad wedge. The small bowl that they brought to the table with honey mustard dressing had a little issue, the bowl at the bottom had dried ketchup in it. So the dishwasher needs to pay attention. Waitress spend way to much time taking people’s orders she needs to take the order and move on. I get it, it’s hard to find help these days but in a college town you better make sure your good with the help. The manager was awesome he came to the table we had a conversation and it was a good one. Remember if you don’t tell the manger what’s going on he cant fix it. Will try it again some day. Great deal on the Togo deal.

Overall we were underwhelmed. Steak had minimal sear, internal temp was decent. Most sides were so over peppered I think that’s the only seasoning they have.

Great steak, well cooked and very appetizing. Waitress was very nice. Nobody had any problems with our service dog sitting under our table.

We haven’t been here in a while, but went for their Veterans Day special. My husband had a boomerang burger and fries and loved it! It also cans with an appetizer and dessert. The potato soup was amazing! He had to take the cheesecake home because he was so full. I got the boomerita margarita flight… so good! The I had the sirloin and grilled shrimp with a giant baked potato. Everything was excellent! The wait staff was friendly and efficient. The manager came around to ask if everything was all right, which is a nice touch. The dining area is well-lit and pleasant. And my husband enjoyed watching football updates, as we sat in the bar area. We will be back!

Food was cold but otherwise tasted fine. Wait time for food was over 30 minutes. Service was good but kinda spotty. GF got charged extra when the server never mentioned asparagus was an upcharge. Just go to Texas Roadhouse or Longhorn.

My daughter, her friend and I dined in this evening. Abby was our server. She came to the table fairly quickly. She was not busy. Another server brought out our drinks. The food was good. However she did not really check on us and we had to ask for refills multiple times. Definitely not the best service as it was mediocre at best. Peter the manager just came over and he asked how the food was. I told him it was good but that our server could have been better. He was super nice.
