My friend and I were in chipotle last Friday at 4:20 and we were so excited because she has never been in chipotle before and she has been influenced by my content so it was very exciting for me,too. After we were done with our foods we threw out the garbage and we were ready to leave. But my friend wanted to use restroom. I went up to the staff/clerk and asked for the bathroom code/pin and she said it’s in your receipt. I asked politely again and explained the situation but she insisted that we need to buy something to use their bathroom. We understand that she might doubt and offered to show Apple Pay and pictures ( because we stayed there for an hour) but she didn’t even listen and kept saying we have to buy something. I wanted to see the manager and she went like she is the manager. If a manager handles this situation like this idk what will be the rest.

So we left and I called the customer service but they haven’t responded/reached out yet.
And this is my second issue with chipotle. The staff assume that as a customer we know all the rules and how the things work in chipotle but you need to know that you are a location in midtown and you’ll have tons of tourists everyday. I believe It is not the best way to serve your customers.

I’ll make another video soon about how racist the chipotle staff in this specific location so maybe the costumers who are from other nationalities may practice their accent to get better service.

This a good location and service is pretty good. The food is always warm when ordering ahead.

I have had on a few occasions when ordering ahead had the wrong extra added to my burrito.

I also once got a bowl instead of the burrito.

First time I try chipotle. Food is nice.
But the service in this particular restaurant was horrible.
Choices are noted on the menu but not next to each choice. We ask what’s what and they seem not to like to answer questions.
Plus the person who started to serve us went away in the middle of the order to let her colleague continue.
People not nice at all.

Normally I never have an issue with Chipotle. This branch needs new staff. I don’t know what’s wrong with the attitude of the girl that works on the front line. But she needs to either get out of hospitality or learn to listen to people. The first guy who started plating my bowl didn’t put on the cheese I asked for and passed the rest onto her so he could start the next customer in line. She skipped the cheese and when I said “sorry he hadn’t put the cheese on yet could I please have some” she rolled her eyes at me and snapped “there is already” with the biggest attitude I’ve ever seen. I responded politely saying “he hasn’t can you please check again” and she continued to ignore me once again, slammed the guacamole like today was the last day alive, sealed it and sent it to the cashier. I’ve never seen anything like this before and am shocked a company with such a positive reputation continues with people like this. From reading reviews it’s clearly not a one time issue from her.
I’ve attached a photo where you can see there’s clearly no cheese. Disgraceful behaviour

UPDATE: I returned after my initial review below and was impressed with the service and changes. There was a long line, but the staff was very quick and professional dealing with the customers + quality of food was great. Great job, think they really do listen to feedback provided.

INITIAL: In my life, I have consumed over 1,000 Chipotle burritos. So I have seen my fair share of Chipotle restaurants across this beautiful nation of ours. As such, based on my awe inspiring sample set, I can confidently say… this is the worst Chipotle I have been to (unfortunately multiple times) for the following reasons:

1. They are always out of something, last time I went, they had no chicken…
2. Their protein whether its the chicken or the steak, always has an off, rubbery taste to it
3. The staff is consistently yelling at each other in Spanish, to the point where one has to repeat and also yell their order back to them multiple times

Unfortunately, their location is somewhat convenient, and therefore I will begrudgingly visit this place again at some point in the future. With that, I hope my review, will inspire them to improve.

It’s okay. I think they didn’t give me a big portions because I’m skinny. Though I wish they could give fair emount to everyone because I like to portion out my food and eat it for 2-3 meals.

This is the slowest chipotle I’ve ever encountered in my entire life. This place needs new staff and they also need to be kinder to their customers. For a location close to Central Park and in a very popular part of midtown, the service should be expected to be MUCH better.
There’s legit always one person doing everything and the line is always way too long. Way way too slow.

This chipotle has the rudest staff I have ever seen, like they actually hate their customers for coming in. They need to understand that they are in Midtown NY. They are rude to both tourists and office workers, I don’t think anyone that eats here actually wants to come back. They give the smallest portions bc they are always afraid of running out of food when they have a line of people. They are slow to take your order, but snap at you when you dont speak english well. Its just gross, there are so many better places to eat than here.

I went twice today and there was a Spanish speaking girl on the cashier, with really bad attitude, she even threw me the guac I order. I understand the weather was bad today but it doesn’t justify her attitude. I mentioned I went twice and she was there both times, the second time being even more rude. I honestly expect at least regular behavior not throwing the thing I just pay for.

The lady first serving with red hair / eyebrows extremely rude and dismissive. No greeting, rolled her eyes when i asked for corn / sour cream as my sides with meal. extremely poor customer service and not welcoming.
