So far this the best sport bar in Lakeland. My family of 8 were seated the moment we stepped in and a waitress was at the table immediately to take our order. The place was clean. The service was excellent and the food was great. I would recommend this to my friends and anyone who hasn’t been inside. Check out their outside covered eating area with plenty of seating.

Fantastic. We ended up here after going to Millers Ale House. We wanted a French Dip with Au Jus. Millers Ale House only has on Fridays and it was a Saturday. Surprising that Yelp didn’t gave this as an option and it was like 20 down the list on Google. Decent reviews so we tried it. First time here. Place looks tiny outside but pretty big inside. We sat at bar with Athena as the bartender. The atmosphere was calm, friendly, and inviting. Very laid back feel. They were busy but no one was complaining and we never felt rushed. French Dip was great. Onion rings and curly fries were great. Beer was cold and refreshing. Overall, great experience and we will definitely be back. Lots in the menu I’d be willing to try.

The fried banana pepper rings at Champs are a must-try! Perfectly crispy with a subtle kick, they set the tone for an amazing meal. And the Cuban sandwich? Absolutely mouthwatering—juicy, flavorful, and authentic. The service at the bar top was top-notch, and the food came out quick. Definitely a go-to spot for a satisfying meal!

The food was genuinely good. We had a dozen raw oysters and an order of frog legs. The oysters were really good but I did not have the frog legs. My husband said they were delicious. Our server was AWESOME! We have not been to Champs for a long time and it was good to taste the same deliciousness!

I got the feeling that they were short staffed. Just be patient and they will get to you. I had the Philly cheese steak and it was fantastic. I thought that the Cole slaw was excellent also. I will definitely be back for more.

Champs was recommended by a friend for their frog legs. Not being a sports fan I wouldnt have thought to go there. We were immediately greeted and seated by Jennifer. She provided terrific service throughout our entire visit! Bro got 1 lb of frog legs and grilled veggies and I got a burger. Food was served as ordered, hot and delicious! Highly recommend for their food and service!

It’s a cool looking place inside. We showed up to watch the eagles game, and they didn’t have it playing, and it’s a sports bar.. how can you be a sports bar and not have all the games playing. My server didn’t say or do anything wrong, but I feel like she wasn’t very nice. We planned on staying for a while and enjoying the food and drinks. We didn’t have any food, so I can’t say how that is.. I would probably give the place another chance a different day. Preferably when the eagles are not playing..
