Well, just 5 stars isn’t enough for this joint 🙂 Amazing!!! Fantastic fried chicken among the very best of the best I’ve ever had. And their pizza is phenomenal too. Owner was great, we chatted for a while / place has been open 69 years! They really care about their food quality here and it shows. It’s a new favorite of mine.

I know this place has excellent chicken BUT you need to try their beer battered lasagna and their fried greens. Both are amazing!! Add a little shake parm to both dishes and you wont be disappointed !!!! 10 out of 10 ! The service is always great too. The only thing I wish is that they had Coke products but I will still go back..LOL

I’m late to the party, but everyone needs to go here and try their chicken. There’s also a drive through pickup if you feel like staying at home to eat. I had chicken nuggets as a meal, and I don’t even remember what else I ordered because it was easily the best chicken I’ve ever eaten. Bonus: they had Heinz Ketchup which is my favorite. With multiple seating areas, they can definitely accommodate large and small groups. There’s also a bar in the back if that works better for you. Very highly recommend!

Great food as always! I live over an hour away from the Buena Vista so we haven’t been there for a while, but man the drive is worth it. The best chicken anywhere, tastes just like it did ever since I was a kid!!!

Drove 60 miles to eat here! Love the chicken! The owner heard how far we drove to get here and personally came out to thank us! Would eat here a lot if we lived closer!

Until recently I would have said 5 stars. However, after the last 2 take out orders I’m giving 1 star. The first time we had an issue we placed our order online, it said 40 minutes. We waited,drove to the restaurant, and got into line gave our name and then sat there and waited an additional 30 minutes, while none of the staff would come near the window so we could ask what was going on. This time, today 2/4/26 , I decided to call to place our order, I asked if they had any of their special left and was told yes they did. I ordered 2 specials and was told it would be 30 minutes. Thirty minutes later, when we were down the street from the restaurant , I get a call saying that they had sold out of the special and did we want to order something else. We did not order anything else and it will probably be a while before we go back, IF we decide to give them another chance.

Feet up, best fried chicken around. Shut the back door every time I come to Ohio,I have to get some of the uncle Nick’s chicken. The potato wedges are off the hook, too. Slap your wife good. Definitely worth giving them a try.

Times people joke that chicken tastes like anything however Buena Vista Cafe has some of the tastiest chicken I’ve ever had. An intense garlic flavor permeates through the entire piece of chicken instead of simply flavoring the skin. Plus their facility is very well maintained and clean. They offer a decent selection of vegetarian options. Many times I have ordered just a $20 box of potatoes and it has always been a hit with my family and friends. This company really knows what they’re talking about when it gets too good food and a pleasant atmosphere.
