The server was really nice and caring. They don’t know the difference between sunny side down or sunny side up. We don’t like snotty eggs. Can’t even get the right toast asked for white got multigrain. The prices are ridiculous.

All of us enjoyed our meals. Everything was perfect, even for my daughter who can be picky. We had such a nice time.

Perkins has a special menu for people aged 55 and older which is a very good deal! I had the pork chop dinner which included 2 pork chops and 2 sides for $12.49! I added a side salad for $1.49, a deal you can’t beat!!! The waitress was so kind and efficient. We enjoyed a nice family dinner for 3 for under $50.

If you don’t eat meat or if you just prefer not to eat grill grease of any leftover meat cooked on the grill DO NOT order the “seasoned “ green beans! Secret is out what they’re seasoned with..we specifically asked what the seasoning was before ordering and explained I don’t eat red meat. We were assured there was no meat included in the seasoning. Well two beans into my mouth and the old meat grease was making me want to choke. Just no Perkins. Do better.

I eat at Perkins in Austintown often and enjoy the food and had given this restaurant 5 stars before because I have always been happy with the food and service. I got off work tonight and stopped in at 6pm and waited to be seated and there was about 8 tables sitting and eating. A server approached and asked if just one, and I said yes. She then said it would be 20 minutes because they have to clean. She asked if that is OK, and I said absolutely not and I left going to Bob Evans. Now just so im clear, there were plenty of tables empty and clean so im not sure why they couldn’t seat me and that cleaning was more important than taking care of a paying customer. What sucks is I had my Birthday coupon that was expiring today and didn’t get to use it. Honestly I dont know why a restaurant that has so much competition at that location would let a customer leave and go elsewhere.

I went to Youngstown to visit family my mom wanted pancakes for dinner so I drove about 35 minutes to nearest perkins. I order at the restaurant for a take out. The manager waited on me and could not figure out how to give me 2 pancakes in one order do I had to buy 3. I sat out in car for 25 min go in and still was waiting finally they brought out a bag of food to a guy that came after I did. I said make sure I have butter n syrup.Get home have no bacon and no butter for pancakes. I had pancakes n sausage and pancakes n bacon. 3 simple orders . I called repeatedly and didn’t get a answer. Just ate the loss.
