I had a sandwich and soup both of which were delicious. My friend had a full sandwich and she really enjoyed that also. She went with the baked beans as a side. It was a nice discovery in Jackson and will return.

This is the taco salad that I ordered. I basically paid for chips with some avocado and a sprinkle of toppings, (chili on the side). As you can see in the photo, they are VERY skimpy on the toppings. Just buy some chili and chips on the side to dip into your chili.

First time there and i had no idea you could order from a table, so we stood in line which is silly. Food was delicious! I did the pick 2: the french dip sandwich did not look like 6 inches to me (but alas i did not bring a measuring tape) and i think my potato needed more fixings- but it was still delicious! Will return!

Got the ultimate nachos to go. Very good but altogether missing the chili and sour cream! Just some chips with a little cheese and such sprinkled on them; a bit disappointing.

Food was *decent* not great. And for the portion sizes it’s definitely not worth the price.
Also, I absolutely LOVE pickles and pickle flavored everything (almost everything). I was iffy to try their new pickle lemonade, so being the diehard pickle lover I am I just had to try it… DON’T! I ate the pickle and threw the drink out. It was such a weird flavor combination that made no sense.

Aimee was just simply the best , absolutely killed it in customer service.
Very kind and courteous and even came to our table to make sure all was good .
I really thought she was a manager after her service to us and to my shock she said no but working on it .
As a previous manager of multitude of businesses , I would have recruited her to work for me ASAP.
Having said that … please don’t let this opportunity pass you guys by, she’s solid gold , and a diamond in the rough .
We love coming here and enjoy McAlester’s very much .

Dessert was the star of the show. That’s the ONLY reason I’ll be back. The wrap had 2 pieces of meat tops! I’m a pickle connoisseur, and I threw it out! 75 employees all over and still had to hunt down my food! Also, a sign that says Jackson Township.. this is Blackman Township. That is all.

I think that they should stop taking large group orders because they always get them wrong. We have received nachos with no toppings, missing bags of chips, no salad dressing for salads. Oh, and they should stop charging $1.20 or whatever it is for an extra ranch, that NEVER makes it to its destination. The food is decent- but honestly CHECK YOUR BAG before you leave because 9 times out of 10 it will be wrong.
