Reviews
Atmosphere is that of a typical pup with plenty of shaded patio and indoor seating. The sound is well absorbed into the wood tables and floor. It was busy while we were there and the staff kept up and it was not loud.
As for our food, we will not be returning. The “juicy burger” was not. Only juice was from the pickle. Dry.
The Philly cheesecake was overcooked with the tiniest piece of cheese.
The patty melt was well done and dry with the bread just plain hard. The cheese in the photo was so thin I had to pull the bread off to look for it. That was dry all around and sad. We all used a lot of condiments to help with the needed moisture to eat.
The salad was sweet potato frys were a hit.
Potatoes 3/5
Chicken 5/5 needed a little more seasoning, but that’s on me. It was juice.
Pasta was good 4/5
Burgers 2/5
Service was good.
It was very loud in there and not that packed.
I have to give a huge shoutout to Olivia — hands down the best bartender around. She’s not only super friendly and cute, but she’s always on top of her game, even when the place is packed. No matter how busy it gets, she handles the crowd like a pro and makes everyone feel taken care of.
On top of that, the catfish is amazing — seriously some of the best I’ve had. Crispy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly every time.
If you’re anywhere near Canyon Lake, do yourself a favor and stop by Lucky’s. Great atmosphere, incredible service, and Olivia makes the whole experience even better!
