Went on a Wednesday, and had their steak special—a bacon wrapped filet with mashed potatoes. The filet was cooked to order, had good flavor but was a little chewy. The mashed potatoes were definitely Potato Buds rehydrated. Creamy, but definitely not fresh mashed potatoes. The brown gravy was also not made from scratch. Wait staff was friendly and efficient. Limited selection of beer, and they were out of the one I asked for (without a good substitute). Overall, disappointed.

As soon as you walked in, you could feel the ‘everybody knows your name’ atmosphere. The locals were welcoming, the food was delicious, and the service was spot-on. It’s the perfect little hole-in-the-wall spot I would stop again

Fat Moose is a very special place. Every person that walks through the door is treated like an old long lost friend. The food is phenomenal the drinks are tasty and the service is off the charts good. Every time we pass through Woodland we make a special stop at the Fat Moose!

We met some friends who live in the area for breakfast on a Saturday morning. We were greeted warmly and sat at a table! Waitress was awesome and on top of taking care of our table of 5. Breakfast was great – including drink options. Price was right where i would expect. Location & Parking lot where easy to find and parking lot was plentiful. There were regulars and you could tell they were well valued and welcomed with how you should be treated. We will be back to try their other menu options & drink options. You should too

We were visiting and stopped in for their Fish Friday. Service was excellent, food was fresh and came out quickly. Servers were all very good, attentive and super friendly!The place was busy but nobody was ignored. If we lived closer this would definitely be a place where we go to on a regular basis. We will be back again next time we are in the area

Expensive and not worth the price. 6 tiny Mac and cheese bites were about $10.00!! And had little to no flavor or taste. Fries tasted like beer was spilt on them and the sandwich I had was subpar for a club. BF wasnt really thrilled about his burger. I don’t think he finished it, or his fries. The older waitress lady was rude (may have been owner/owner’s wife). I don’t mind some funny sass, but her attitude was not something to laugh about. It was very dry and rather cutthroat. Atmosphere was fine, rather cold inside though. Almost put my jacket back on. Owner/owner’s husband seemed cool. I gave two stars for service because of the owner guy and the younger waitress/cook who brought our meal to us was nice.

Good Dive Bar Vibes, Decent Drinks but with Mediocre Food.
Service was good considering the busy Friday evening crowd at the Fat Moose.
The place was definitely buzzing as people poured in after work . Looked like lots of regulars enjoying visiting with friends and grabbing drinks. The atmosphere and vibe was relaxed and friendly with lots of activity.
Most of my friends had fish and chips which they seemed to enjoy. I had a BLT which was marginal to poor considering the old toasted bread that seemed fall apart every time I picked it up. My mistake in ordering this , for sure.
Handicap doable once inside, parking lot is rutted and dirt , which might present a hazard to those who are mobility challenged.
Final take —go for the vibe but stay away from that BLT.

Everything is frozen out of a bag, even the burger patties and the fries they have the balls to up charge you $3.99 for.
I could see in the kitchen and there was all kinds of bare handed food prep going on back there.
Shitty service.
Homemade chips sound good until you realize they are just a heap of lukewarm grease. And whatever they toss them in gave me a pretty unpleasant mouth reaction of some kind and I do not have food sensitivities or allergies of any kind.
Dingy and gross inside.
Parking lot is pretty swampy with huge deep puddles.
I personally have no problem with a dive bar – but this place is just a dump.

Im from longview wa, but, was meeting a friend here to catch up and have a few beers. They had my beer and getting it on tap which is amazing. Ordered a bacon wrapped fillet mignon, mash potatoes w/ brown gravy for $7.⁹⁹. It was so cheap we got some fried pickles while we waited and more drinks. The servers & owner were a fiesty bunch. I loved every second of it. They gave it as good as I did. Very fun, will be going back.

I was on the road and hit this place by chance. Being a pescatarian my choices were limited, like: fish & chips or nachos, which I chose and were good. The dish was generous.
