I’ve been craving for some NY Style pizza but vegan. I purchased a Build Your Own (BYO) with mushrooms, green peppers, and vegan sausage. This place did not miss. They make their own vegan cheese. The owner is kind and friendly. AND, the vegan coconut cookies and cream gelato is THEE ice cream on the cake. I’ll be back!

Went here today with my family, we have been wanting to come for about a year now ever since we saw dave portnoy review it and finally made it!! The owner is super kind to everyone! We chose to get the 2 pepperoni pizzas & 1 pepperoni and sausage pizza with order of mozzarella sticks I’ll post the pictures below I didn’t get a chance to get a picture of the mozzarella sticks they were gone within 3 minutes I would definitely get this pizza again.

Also not sure why the AI generater is saying it’s closed? it is NOT CLOSED they are open and waiting for your business.

One bite, everybody knows the rules!

Such a great local spot if you’re looking for No Frills pizza. Upon approaching the building, the owner was outside doing some cosmetic work and he immediately created us and welcomed us in. Then we walked in one of the staff also greeted us right away and let us know if we needed any help just to let her know. The menu overall is pretty simple and the prices are great. They also offer some dessert options and she even offered us some free samples of their gelato. And after the free samples, I would highly recommend that everyone grabs a cup.

The pizza is so simple and a wave of nostalgia just came over as I but into it. While the pizza was on the thinner side, it still had a nice crunch and a chew at the same time. They also have Jones soda on tap, which is amazing because I really think their sodas are flavorful.

The spot overall is pretty small so if you plan on sending they do have a couple tables and some bar areas but otherwise you would probably have to take it to go . If you’re not familiar with the area, it is street parking and a lot of the places in Federal Hill are permit only so just make sure that you read the science carefully before parking.

I consider myself a junior pizza connoisseur ( ) and this pizza was SO good. The crust is crispy on the bottom, perfect amount of cheese (so many places put so much on that I usually ask for light cheese, but this was PERFECT just the way it came), and the sauce was so tasty. Also, beef pepperoni!?! Heck yeah. I don’t think the pizza lasted even 10 minutes between 2 of us. Will absolutely be back next time I’m in Baltimore ❤️ The owner was so nice and easy to talk to. TLDR: Great pizza, awesome owner, and a real neighborhood asset.

After living in Federal Hill for six years, I’ve seen plenty of pizza spots come and go, but TinyBrickOven is definitely a step above the rest. Not just because of the pizza, but because of how the owner runs his business and cares about the community.

We stopped in before a nearby Yelp Elite event to grab a quick pregame slice and went for their 2-slice special ie. two slices and a Jones fountain soda for $8. Following Dave Portnoy’s advice, we got plain cheese to really test the quality. The slices didn’t disappoint. Crispy bottom, soft top, and a perfect sauce/cheese ratio. The slice size was a little smaller than NYC-style slices, but for the price, no complaints.

The staff was super friendly and even gave us free gelato samples while we waited. The owner is clearly passionate about what he does, and I love that he runs a “pay it forward” slice program so people can donate slices for those in need.

Overall, this place is a true local favorite and well worth a visit if you’re in the Fed Hill area. Great pizza, great people, great vibes.

Response to the owner: You had already told me my pizza was ready I’m not waiting for another pizza to made after I had waited 20 minutes for it…. As far as having stuff out in your shop I assisted in opening a pizza restaurant. I have assisted in opening multiple restaurants You having your stuff out all over the place is not being an “artisan small business” it’s gross and dirty unsanitary and lazy. Your response to this review tells me everything I needed to know about you.

Super disappointing. Either Dave Portnoy bad taste or he felt bad for them. I ordered pepperoni and onion half cheese. This is like eating cardboard but it’s also somehow half baked? Also barely any toppings are on the pizza. They really stiff you here and are cheap obviously. See picture.

Edit: response for the owner. You would already told me by pizza
Go to Iggy’s or piazza27 or Angelis to not be disappointed….

The restaurants dirty as hell and has random kitchen equipment placed all over the restaurant where people sit, including a bbq and drill sitting on the drink station along with other tools.

Spend your money somewhere else $22 for a 16-in pizza half baked pizza is a rip off. for what they’re offering.

Also the owner stands up front wearing a corny chef costume while the one employee does all the work. While he watches

Don’t waste your money here. YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!

I’m no foodie but if you like thin pizza you must visit this shop! Fantastic flavors, excellent service, and don’t forget the gelato! Oh, and pay it forward and buy a slice for someone who might need one (an excellent outreach this joint does to help the homeless and hungry). Absolutely worth the trip! We will return!

Great pizza shop in Fed Hill. Will is a great guy who takes pride in his pizza, and it shows. No reason to go anywhere else for pizza in Baltimore. I think Dave’s 7.9 might have been a bit light. 8.3 in my book.
