If you’re traveling north this is a great stop just a bit before you get to the crazy part of driving thru Dallas. There are fantastic selections of classic & sugar free chocolates, candies & also ice cream & coffee. The best part though~ is the back room of bloopers & discounted chocolates & other candies. Perfect to take for home gifts! Plus a nice clean bathroom! It’s an easy exit off & back onto off the freeway whether you’re traveling north or south.

One of my favorite places to stop on the way to Dallas. When you first walk in a worker gives you a free sample of their chocolate. They have amazing chocolate and the prices are not that bad. But only the true die hard Russell Stovers followers know about the back room by the restrooms. Which has their clearance chocolate and Bloopers which are chocolate that are still good to eat they just didn’t pass inspection to fit in the boxes. When I went August of 2025 they had just decorated for Halloween. My 2 favorite chocolates they have are their Millionaires and Mint Dreams. But can you really go wrong with any of their chocolate I don’t think so. Definitely worth the stop.

The Russel Stover store located directly next to their factory in Corsicana,Tx is a fantastic place to experience the world of all things chocolate.
My family and I drive from Houston several times each year to buy for special holidays in advance because with refrigeration, the chocolate whether boxed, bagged or in a tin will stay fresh until you need to use it. The store smells wonderful and you are welcomed in with a free piece of their chocolate on every visit. This single piece speaks volumes about the outstanding quality of their product. Their back room area is the special surprise. It is the discount area for holidays past or slightly irregular pieces of chocolate that didn’t make the “perfect box cut”. These are sold in bulk boxes called “Bloopers” and the savings are tremendous. On our last visit, we were able to buy a 3 lb box of chocolate with nuts for $19.99. I also bought ahead for Valentine’s Day.
The store sells hand dipped ice cream and fudge with Dubai chocolate available in individual or bagged pieces. The store must be kept cool inside for the chocolate, so bring a light jacket or wear sleeves and the factory does not offer tours, as it interrupts production. All major holidays plus regular chocolate are offered and the staff are super nice about helping…because believe me when I say it can be hard to choose when surrounded by so many choices, including sugar free chocolates. Definitely stop by…it’s worth a trip!

When you enter, you are greeted by friendly staff, over free sample, and so many chocolates to see and choose from. There is a huge selection of sugar free as well.

**Sweet Stop in Corsicana! **

On my road trip, I decided to pop into the Russell Stover store in Corsicana. Now, I’m not the biggest Russell Stover fan, but I was pleasantly surprised! They own a few other brands and offer every chocolate treat you could possibly imagine.

The real highlight? They make homemade fudge right there on-site! No need to settle for the big boxes you find at CVS or grocery stores. I grabbed six generous bars of their fudge for just $20, and let me tell you—it was some of the best fudge I’ve ever had!

The service was incredibly friendly, and I loved the free samples—they really know how to treat their customers. If you’re ever in the area, this place is a must-visit for any chocolate lover. You won’t regret it!

My family and I absolutely love visiting this place. The candy tastes amazing and with the variety, we can each find our own style we like and then we hit the back of the store for the big discounts. We’ve been doing this for the past 10 years and will definitely continue to do so.

Enormous selection of chocolate candies for the holidays and every other day as well. My car mysteriously pulls into the parking lot, I can’t control it.
Boxes of bloopers are good too.

This is always a stop when I go through Corsicana. Huge selection of regularly-priced items, a back area that is full of less expensive “blooper” candies that didn’t pass inspection at the next-door’s factory (but are still delicious) ice cream, specialty chocolates, novelty items–it’s all there. We love it!

I’ve noticed that pricing at the Stover store in Corsicana is significantly higher—often 30% or more—than the exact same items at other nearby retailers. There is no apparent difference in the products themselves to justify this markup.
Additionally, there appears to be a decline in overall quality while prices continue to increase. As a customer, this combination makes it difficult to justify continued patronage. Until pricing and value align more reasonably with the market, I will be choosing to shop elsewhere.
