We decided to go on Valentine’s, no reservations. The place was busy. However, we got complimentary valet parking and after a short wait we were offered a table. We even got to sit outside- water view! Food was very delicious (we had Chicken Rigatoni with Coconut and Mango Alfredo). The staff was friendly, not the “stiff, can’t crack a smile” kinda waiter. Live music and since it was Valentine’s the ladies received a single red rose at the end! All in all wonderful evening! We will definitely go again.

Lazy Turtle Riverfront Grill & Tiki Bar – Florida Coast
Tucked along the Florida coastline, the Lazy Turtle Riverfront Grill & Tiki Bar is one of those rare local spots that manages to feel both comfortably close to home and blissfully far away. It’s a modest riverside retreat that delivers the kind of gentle escape most travelers seek, all without requiring more than a short drive.
From the moment you pull in, convenience sets the tone: ample parking and immediate seating make the arrival seamless. The staff continues that positive momentum—my server was polite, warm, and genuinely attentive, even though my visit was intended to be a quick stop. It’s the kind of hospitality that elevates a simple meal into a memorable moment.
The standout of the visit was, without question, the New England Clam Chowder. Rich, balanced, and deeply comforting, it captures the essence of what a proper chowder should be. Creamy without being heavy, flavorful without unnecessary embellishments—it’s a bowl worth returning for, and one I highly recommend to any guest.
While this wasn’t a full-course experience, the overall atmosphere, service, and culinary execution suggest a place that understands its strengths and leans into them. With a waterfront backdrop, a laid-back coastal charm, and food that overdelivers, Lazy Turtle earns its place as a reliable local getaway.
A strong 4-star destination—casual, inviting, and well worth the stop.

A very nice spot for lunch on a beautiful Florida day. GF is marked on menu but no dedicated fryer so several items marked as GF are not really gluten free. They have good GF buns that they toasted just right.
We had the Cold Water Lobster Roll and the Blackened Mahi Mahi Rueben. We substituted cole slaw for the fries (shared fryer). Both sandwiches were delicious.
We did take Gluten Ease since we were unsure of cross contamination and we didn’t get sick.

We had an absolutely fabulous time here! The service was top-notch from start to finish, and every dish we tried was incredible. The nachos were loaded and delicious, the crab legs were fresh and perfectly cooked, the salad was crisp and refreshing, and the lobster bisque was rich and full of flavor. Everything came out just right, and the staff made the experience even better with their friendly and attentive service. Highly recommend for a great meal and a wonderful time!

We stopped here for lunch on a whim! So happy we did! We had our 1 year old baby with us and the staff was so welcoming and great with her! The bartender cut up fresh fruit while we were waiting and the cook brought her out a toy! That on top of great food, we will be back!!!

I am very disappointed. I love coming here to have a fresh air and enjoy food. This time I came was not a great moment for me. They got the wrong order and I politely ask to switch it up because I am allergic to the plate they gave me. I thought the waiter was nice to do it since she knew that it was wrong but when they brought the right plate it was just not appealing to my sight and taste. There was a bunch of oil all over the plate and that it’s not appropriate serving. The sad part is I really love the chef’s food but when I get treated like this usually never come back.

My husband & I decided to run out for a late casual dinner date , we had passed here many times and it’s always busy so we said why not give it a try! Went around 9pm, plenty of seats available, hostess was very kind and showed us our seating options. It was raving so we decided to sit inside near the bar side , we got the crunchy snapper, appetizer fried shrimp with a chili cream sauce which was AMAZING !! Also shared the rib appetizer with sweet potato fries and it was so tasty. Great drinks & a great server and very helpful and informative on menu items. With great weather I’m sure sitting outside day or night would be beautiful , live music and out tiki bar as well !!

We only had drinks and appetizers. Coffee martini and chocolate martini were delicious. The calamari was cooked perfectly. The mayonnaise aioli was delicious on them. The oysters were fresh and perfect. The ceviche was delicately balanced, perfect amount of dill. Bright. The Mahi Mahi dip was smoked and light, served with fresh crunchy vegetables. The jalapeño was fresh and matched the dip well.

Food and service was great. Business was clean and staff was friendly. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the pricing. While the food is tasty, it was about $40 per person for a burger or sandwich and it felt a bit steep for a casual tiki-bar setting. You’re definitely paying a “view tax” here but the views of the bay are wonderful. Overall: It’s a fantastic spot for a “treat yourself” lunch or a sunset drink. If you don’t mind spending a little extra for the ambiance and great service, it’s well worth the stop!
