Tried for the first time. I got the special 3 piece catfish with Fries and coleslaw. It was excellent!! My wife had the cheese enchilada with beans and rice. The soft drinks are expensive at $3.99 and tea at $3.49. The staff was very friendly and service was great.

Restaurant is in the country. Very mom and pop style. People friendly and know each other. We eat here often when we visit my mom. Had the Catfish and it was really good. Fries were a little soggy. Serve a lot of comfort food. Service was great. Very friendly atmosphere.

Visited for lunch. I ordered the calf fries, have always wanted to try them. They came out pipping hot. Feel they could have used more seasoning. The ribs were definitely a let-down. The mac and cheese was mediocre. The service was excellent!! Next time, I might try the burgers. I was told they’re good.

We were told the food was good, but good is an understatement. Fresh, delicious, and timely service. We were served by Darla who was a sweetheart and made 2 travelers feel right at home. If I’m ever near here again I’ll for sure be getting more Catfish!

This convenient restaurant located in Quitman, Texas offers a good selection of casual food. I chose a two meat barbecue platter. The turkey was succulent and tender however, the brisket was dry. This was surprising as we arrived at 6:30pm, not late evening. My friend ordered a brisket sandwich and didn’t encounter the same problem. Service was friendly.

The food was good. I was .most impressed with the employees . While we were there, a man had a very serious medical issue. All of the employees remained calm and worked together to care for him until the ambulance arrived. I believe they saved the man’s life. Our Lord’s Blessings on the man and all of the emploees.

If you are hungry for BBQ make sure you steer clear of this place! We decided to call in a couple of orders and when we got it home there was not much food. I ordered a 2 meat combo plate and ordered slice beef and sausage. What I got was 3 small slices of beef cut about 1/8″ thick and the sausage was sliced and all I got was 6 small slices. The Pinto beans were watery and had few beans. Manager you will not be in business much longer if this is how you take care of your customers. $32 and did not get any food hardly. You can tell they are trying to skimp on food this will be the last time I ever eat at this place! Wife’s was same way really made me mad seeing this.

First visit here, traveling through. We will definitely visit again. They had a buffet. All the food was very good and fresh. We had Catfish Ribs cabbage green beans potato salad apple cobbler.
