I ordered the shrimp and grits. The shrimp were super small and fishy tasting. They tried to cover it with cheese . I also had a strawberry lemonade and it was very syrupy. Staff was nice but mentioned a tip to me.

I was extremely disappointed in the food. I choose the eggs Benedict for the description with smoked shaved ham sounded delicious. Unfortunately this was just simple deli sliced ham, Benedict sauce was average at best, and the home fries were just awful. Side of bacon turned out to be the cheap stuff, bad sign for any breakfast joint. I will not be trying this place again.

Went here with my girlfriend the other week. This place has got some good breakfast food for sure. Some things that we got were a little bit on the disappointing side though. We got the Beignots, which were delicious, the crunch to them was amazing. We also got the Fancy Home fries, which are also a great starter. As for my main meal. I got the mixed berry pancake (they were perfectly made and the berries weren’t overwhelming) combo, with 2 eggs (sunny side up), they were fine, i got the corned beef hash, which was spectacular, i also got a side of the butter grits. These were not that great to be honest, i finished them but there was basically no flavor to them and they were very runny. My girlfriend on the other hand got the chocolate waffles. Let me start with the staff at Brigs did take care of the meal in a very reasonable manner and were super nice about it, but the waffle just had the most chocolate you could imagine. And I’m a huge chocolate fan, I’ll eat it all. The waffle was just way too overloaded with the chocolate chips and it was just goop at one point. Wasn’t a huge fan. Still I highly recommend this spot if you want a good breakfast spot to go to.

Stopped by in Cary, North Carolina and ordered the triple cheese omelette with grits—everything was excellent. The omelette was cooked perfectly, full of flavor, and the grits were on point. Great food and a solid experience overall. Will definitely be back.

I went here with a small group. We waited about 45 minutes for brunch during peak time. The place was packed but clean. Our server was very pleasant and friendly. He was also attentive to our needs as we did have some questions and always kept our drinks full. We enjoyed the blueberry pancakes, Coastal Benedict, Ole, and Double Trouble. I had the club Benedict. The food came out hot and complete in a timely manner. The portion size was very generous while the price was average, making this a good value. The meals also came with fruit and the fruit was very juicy and sweet. I enjoyed the fact that they had so many different variations of Benedict to choose from. I will definitely come back to try others. They also offer several specials that change. That is a nice offering, especially if you want to make this place your regular spot. I was worried about trying the seafood Benedict as I was unfamiliar with the quality. However, it was delicious and fresh.

We waited for 40 minutes for the brunch. Place was clean and our server was super sweet. The crab cake was awesome and French toast as well as pancake were perfect.

In short: this restaurant has great food and even better servers at a reasonable price.
In depth:
I visited here with my family on two different Sundays for brunch shortly before closing. Each time, despite being very busy, our food was prepared quickly and tasted fantastic. Both their breakfast and their lunch dishes are high quality. Our drinks were always refilled promptly; the hot cocoa is particularly nice (and includes one refill).
The servers are top-notch, and (from overhearing conversations) many know their regulars by name. Each table has a generous supply of condiments and jam for the toast you’ll likely get with your meal, and the whole restaurant has a very cozy atmosphere.
I highly recommend visiting this place, but be aware that a nearby church lets out around 1:30 pm on Sundays, so they tend to be very busy around that time. If you can, come early. They’re worth it.

I around 10:15am on a Friday morning for a breakfast date.
Our waitress didn’t introduce herself which is a personal pet peeve. My date ordered chicken and waffles with a side of grits. I got blueberry pancakes with a side of bacon and home fries. I ordered a strawberry lemonade for my beverage and it was not sweet enough, personally.
The food came 10 mins after ordering, which was extremely quick. I enjoyed my pancakes as they were HUGE!! It came with two but one would have been sufficient. My bacon was greasy, not crispy, and on the cooler side. The home fries were lukewarm. My date enjoyed their chicken and waffles but the grits were flavorless and not enjoyable. I tasted them and I concur.
The prices are affordable with hit and miss on the food. The tables are fairly close together so you can hear the conversation of other guest, just as they can hear yours.
Overall, it was an okay experience. It got really busy, so it appears to be a popular spot.

Food is great.
Front desk staff – Immediately gave us table even though quite busy. Treated us very good. Felt Happy.
***But Server
1.) She seems unhappy to serve the Asians like me.
2.) ***The way she answered and doing hand gestures with no respect towards us made me awkward.
3.) I asked politely even when my order was messed up. She Still it ended up added in my final bill.
4.) Also, everyone having seats for long time but I’m there for only 30 mins, even without querying we are done or not asking about the boxes to pack. Felt, In directly asking us to leave. Still I didn’t get angered and also left quietly.
Importantly, I didn’t made any scene / Angered at any point. I quietly left the place bcz I don’t want to disturb their business.

Party of 4. 2 meals came out almost 10 minutes before the other 2. Home fries were soggy and cold. My son enjoyed his pancakes. The rest of the food was just not very good. Left our plates almost 3/4 uneaten. 1 of the meals was not as ordered. Over $60 and left hungry and disappointed.
