I came in for the breakfast burrito deal that they have from 7am-11am and there was many meat choices as well as non meat. Very very delicious burritos. Golden is very lucky to have this restaurant as I travel for work and this is amazing food! Muy buena la comida gracias!

It was a good experience stopping in for lunch in this authentic Mexican restaurant. Packed for lunch and then fizzled out quickly. Not too over the top, quaint restaurant with about the CO norm when it comes to MX food. Quite an extensive menu with average prices. Very large portions and the horchata was huge! The chips and salsa were good, great flavor, and not too spicy. I enjoyed a vegetarian entree of cheese enchilada and guacamole tostada. Make sure to let your server know if you have vegetarian dietary restrictions. (Otherwise, the beans, enchilada sauce, and green chili are made w meat.) Hubs had a shredded chicken burrito, which he liked. We would return and try the queso fundido (meat on the side) or breakfast that is served ALL day. We both left full and satisfied. Good service, too.

Everything was super clean, exceptionally delicious, and very timely. The green chili is to die for, and the tortillas are fresh and tasty! Definitely a new favorite!

We stopped at this restaurant for lunch during our road trip, and we weren’t disappointed! The food was amazing, with generous portions, and everything was fresh and delicious. Our server was incredibly nice and friendly. I highly recommend this place!

So many decent franchise mall restaurants in the area, it was nice to find a local Mexican restaurant alternative. Very good food, generous portions, great professional and personable wait staff, and moderate to low prices! Queso fundido is a recommended starter. We had breakfast and it was so well done, we returned for dinner the next day!

Hot wow. Had the smoked chicken enchiladas fully expecting them to be the best part of the meal, and while they were really really good, the beans and rice and the homemade chips and salsa literally took my breath away….so tasty I couldn’t stop eating the salsa even after my mouth melted also tried the house margs and loved their lil twist! It’s the best Mexican food in golden. Service is great, always a smiling face. I’ve been to another restaurant just down the street, every time I have been there I have gotten a plate full of rude waitresses. Las plamas is the place for fast friendly service. I will always go there before I go anywhere else. I also take my service dog with me, she is always welcome and they bring her some water when I walk in. Took my best friend from Wisconsin when they were visiting and I take my service dog also. She loves ❤️ all the people down there. Thank you for being so pleasant to me all the time, a smiling happy face goes a long way. Lily loves all of you
