My first time trying this place after reading all the great reviews and I was not disappointed. We were some of the first people there when they opened and was able to get a seat without a reservation, though by the time we left, most of the tables were full so I highly suggest making a reservation.
All the food was delicious, fresh and tasted like authentic Shanghainese cuisine. There wasn’t a single dish we ordered that I thought needed to be improved. Prices were on the higher end but the portions are generous
The restaurant had a cozy environment and beautifully decorated. The servers were friendly and attentive which made for a wonderful dining experience, especially since this was our first time here.
I highly recommend this restaurant and I will definitely be coming back as there were so many items on the menu I want to try

My family came here for lunch to enjoy the festive CNY at Aberdeen Centre.
We are pleased with the tea (Tie Guan Yin) and all the food served. The menu has a lot to choose from and we ordered quite a bit.
The food tasted excellent! We love places that cook authentically without MSG or excessive salt.
We would definitely be back soon in the future 🙂

We had an amazing dining experience! The fried rice was perfectly seasoned and full of flavor, the stir-fried pork with peppers was tender and delicious with just the right amount of spice, and the sweet and sour dish was beautifully balanced and refreshing. Everything tasted fresh and high quality. The service was attentive and welcoming, and the tea was a lovely touch. We’ll definitely be coming back again!

The food was great and the atmosphere was really nice! We tried two or three kinds of dim sum, and they were all freshly made, super juicy fillings with chewy, bouncy wrappers. The duck fried rice was also excellent: the rice grains were perfectly separated, and every bite of duck had just the right amount of rich duck flavor.
The salted egg yolk shrimp is also highly recommended. The flavors were well balanced, not too salty or greasy, and you could taste both the fragrant salted egg yolk and the springy shrimp. The small wonton soup was a pleasant surprise too, the portion was generous, the wontons were meaty and fresh, and the soup paired perfectly without being too heavy.
Overall, everything we ordered was delicious with no disappointments at all. Highly recommend! Also, the tea being kept warm with a little candle was a really nice and unique touch. ✨

It was my first time at Osmanthus, and every dish was delicious and authentically prepared. The Man Lan Tou was a pleasant surprise—so good! The Xiao Long Bao and Dong Po Pork are absolute must-tries, and the Dong Po Pork was especially outstanding. Definitely worth the price.

I enjoyed the green bean & eggplant, crab roe & noodle, and xia long bao dish very much. However we ordered the crab roe xiao long
bao (3 for $19.95) and it didn’t have much crab flavor, tasted mostly like pork, which was a bit disappointing. You can see what it looks like in the photo. Everything else was good. Service was decent and the server was friendly.
