We were in town for a mini vacation and wanted to try Annie’s Cafe, based on the reviews and the location. Sitting right off of the freeway in Temecula, it’s easy to find and get to. There are a few British photo-op props you can take pictures with while waiting to be seated, or even afterwards. They also have a small merchandise area, in case you wanted a small souvenir.
We arrived bright and early around 730 on a Saturday, and it filled up very quickly. While I’m not sure if it’s a weekend special or a daily special, there was a chalkboard out in front highlighting a $12.99 steak and eggs special before 9AM. AMAZING deal. The steak is cooked to order, and you have a few options to choose from, and decent options….not cheap menu fillers. Probably why it filled up so quickly.
Service is fast and friendly, and for larger groups, there are small table extenders that connect two together – great as a space-saver for fixed booths and tables. Boysenberry syrup is available for you pancake, waffle and french toast lovers!
The food is good, and will fill you up…also another reason why the restaurant filled up so quickly. While there may be quite a few options nearby for breakfast and brunch, you won’t be disappointed with the fluffy french toast, waffles, pancakes and the savory food.

Good diner atmosphere. Staff was lively, well meaning and seemed to have good team work communication. Yet while the dining areas was packed with weekend brunchers our service was somewhat lacking in attentiveness for things like water, drink refills, condiments requests and a side order that never came. Not a total inditement, just a one visit weekend brunches our service time experience. I would definitely try again and maybe try to steer away from peak dining hours.

I cannot say enough good things. I inquired about a catering order for a breakfast celebration we were having onsite for a retirement go-away, and Annie’s made it so easy. We ordered for 20, and it was more than enough, no one felt like they had to skimp out on portions & everyone raved about the food (especially the biscuits and gravy). We even got to feed our customers who came through. Great staff, great food, and great price. Thank you, Annie’s!

We visited Annie’s Café in Temecula on a Sunday morning and had about a 20-minute wait, which is pretty typical for the weekend crowd. Once seated in our booth, we found the atmosphere comfortable and the service exceptional—friendly, attentive, and quick.
I had heard a lot of hype about this place and was eager to see what made it so popular. Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the expectations. The breakfast was very reminiscent of cafeteria-style dining—bland, lacking flavor, and overall uninspired. While the staff and setting were pleasant, the food itself just didn’t stand out enough to make me want to return.

Visited on way to Idyllwild. So good I visited on way back. Their bangers and mash, fish and chips and funnel cake French toast stuffed with strawberries, strawberry syrup, cream cheese and topped with fresh cream were to die for. If it’s your birthday expect a full singing and dancing show!

The staff here was very professional, kind, and attentive.
In today’s society this place is a breath of fresh air. The staff was quick to help my wife and myself. The food came out in a short time. The place was so busy too!
We felt very respected and as an entrepreneur myself; I have to say I’m envious of the professional staff that works here.
My omelette tasted fantastic, was a little watery but still tasted great.
Compliments to the waiting staff, the cooking staff, and management and of course the owner for their high standards.
I highly recommend this restaurant!

Most of the food we had was pretty good. I had the steak special and the steak was cooked well. The hash browns were toasted nicely. My friend had the French toast and it was good. None of us cared for the biscuits. Coffee was okay.

When i went to Annies for breakfast a little while ago I ordered scrambled eggs, chopped baked potatos, and sausage. I waited for a long time—when I finally got my food it was cold and the potatos were slightly cooked (still raw). I was disappointed not only because of the food, but because of the cleanliness of the place, the tables kind of felt grubby? If thats the word for it. It just wasnt well cleaned.
This experience dissapointed me, I had an expection that I would have a good breakfast experience because of the reviews. This wasnt the only time this location let me down, i went here once or twice before.
