I’ve been coming to Winona’s for a long time now & it’s my favorite breakfast in town! I make a point to have breakfast here on my birthday each year! Their cinnamon roll is an absolute must if you’re in the mood for something sweet. You really can’t wrong with anything on the menu here. Both their sweet and savory breakfasts are amazing!! Service is always good, friendly, and efficient.

Seriously Though!! This place was dang!! And fire!! I like to try new things (occasionally) so with my bacon Benny, I asked for the green chili cheese grits. Zero regrets. As I’m reviewing, I’m craving just a few more bites to give me that little kick of spice with some kind of flavors that sets my mouth watering! Top that grit with the hollandaise sauce and it’s a perfect balance of flavors and feels.
Dive now into the cinnamon roll that literally melted on my tongue while delectable frosting oozed into every crevasse! All in all, what a great way to begin my Thanksgiving holiday with my family here in beautiful Steamboat Springs.

Outstanding breakfast with great service. I highly recommend you try this wonderful spot soon. Both the pancakes and cinnamon french toast were delicious. I also enjoyed the side of ham and OJ. Thanks again we will be back next time we visit Steamboat.

This place was perfect. We got sat pretty quickly, and ordered a stack of pancakes, Philly Benedict, corned beef Benedict and coffees and it was all delicious. The pancakes were fluffy and delicious, and the Benedict’s were outstanding. Loved our waitress, too! Didn’t catch her name but she was wonderful.

What a wonderful place to have early morning breakfast. We found this as we strolled the streets on our first day here.
We got a warm greeting and lucky to get a booth by the window. We decided to eat inside as weather was a little chill in the outdoor seating.
Katie, our server was friendly, professional and great for food suggestions. Always a smile and key in making us comfortable. Food came out quick. I had the Carnitas Hash without the green chile. Health reasons. The dish came with hash potatoes, perfectly cooked/seasoned carnitas, two eggs staring at me and two tortillas. VERY YUM RATED!
My wife had Sweet Potato Hash. It included kale, onion, seasoning with two eggs and rustic sour dough. Fabulous, is what she said.
The atmosphere and decor is nice. Cozy inside.
Thank you Katie! You were awesome!!
Make sure you come for Breakfast.
A must while in Steamboat!

Had this place on our family itinerary when in town and we almost skipped it but so happy we stopped. I had the carnitas hash and it was perfection. The potatoes were hot and crisp along with the carnitas they also had a perfect crisp to them and were not dry. The tortillas were soft but toasted. I also had the green chili cheese grits were a dragon I’ll be chasing, they were soo good. Even my husband who hates grits said they were great. The pancakes were super fluffy and cooked perfectly. The chicken and waffles was also delicious; crisp fluffy waffle and crispy juicy chicken. We got a cinnamon roll to go and had it after a long hike which was a nice treat. They are huge and liked the sunflower seeds mixed in. Totally worth the stop if you are in town!

Sets a high bar for what a standard meal should be. They don’t screw it up, it’s not pretentious or obnoxious, just great quality and quantity, and the service is excellent-genuine and friendly, is the overall vibe. Truly a lively, happy place to eat, have a unrushed, good time, leave full and not broke. I can see why their reputation is so well established.

I got a BLT and fresh squeezed OJ, my friend got an Acorn Squash soup and a tofu veggie wrap and iced tea. We loved our meals. BLT was on a delicious, sliced sourdough bread- toasted just right, with perfectly cooked bacon (an actually hard thing to find in my experience).. acorn squash soup was awesome. If I wasn’t so full from my meal I’d have gotten that too.

Came in for a late breakfast. We were able to get a table right away. The menu was vast, but all the options looked good.

Unfortunately, our server seemed overwhelmed. There were two other servers, but it seemed they handled well. It took a while to get my coffee, and I wasn’t offered a refill until we were given the check to leave.

The pastries leave something to be desired. The cinnamon roll was decent, but the berry and cream croissant had almost no filling.

The breakfast food was good. Their biscuits were the best item we tried.

We did enjoy the small, diner atmosphere inside the restaurant. Feels very mom & pop.
