Hawaiian theme atmosphere, reminds you of being in the Hawaiian islands. Burgers are fantastic, especially the teriyaki burger with pineapple. Very tasty!! And their nachos are great, as well with chicken. They add a side of sour cream guacamole and salsa upon request. The crew are friendly and gave top service!! Not too long of wait for take out orders.

I recently stopped by Islands in Pasadena and absolutely loved the experience! What first grabbed my attention was the cool, laid-back, tropical atmosphere. It genuinely feels like stepping out of the city and onto a beach vacation, which is a great way to unwind.
But the real reason I’ll be coming back is the food. I ordered the Hawaiian Burger and it was easily one of the best I’ve had in a while—juicy, perfectly cooked, love the grilled pineapple to death, and served on a fresh bun. And seriously, you have to try the fresh-cut Island Fries; they are perfectly crispy and salty, making them completely addictive.
I also appreciated that the service was super friendly and attentive, which definitely added to the positive vibe. It’s clear why this place is a local favorite. It’s perfect for a casual lunch, a family dinner, or grabbing a couple of drinks with friends. I highly recommend making a stop at Islands if you’re in the area and craving a truly great burger and a little escape!

I’ve been coming to this location since it opened. The theming is very cool. The food was good and fresh. We went for the lunch special and happy hour. The chicken tortilla soup was good as always and salad the salad was delicious fresh and crispy. The passion ice tea is the best. We got the drink flight which the ship wreck was the tastiest. The big island ice tea was good once Jessica F remade it fresh. Jessica gave outstanding service and the manager Efran was very helpful and professional. The basket of fries is a must. The ranch and blue cheese are both good. Ten out of ten recommend this location.

Looked good but too much cumin in my salad and in the salsa; rice was super sour. Thank goodness I ordered fries, which were great. Loud. And servers were extra loud as they congregated outside kitchen area.

Been here so many times for 20+ years. Their burgers are still the best in town. This is the first time I tried their tortilla soup though. It was fantastic! The taste of the soup was perfectly balanced. There are enough chicken strips and veggies inside. I will order the soup again next time! However, as we mention that every time we come here now, we miss their endless fries!!! Remember they used to give us unlimited refills on the French Fries! Bring it back please, Islands!

Burgers seem a bit smaller, but still good. The lunch specials are pretty good value all things considered. No more endless fries which is a bummer. But the fries are still excellent. I need to come back again soon.
The lunch burger special is too dry for my taste so ask for mayonnaise on the side so you can add it to your burger.

We had an amazing time. Our server, David, deserves all the high praise. He exemplifies good service. My husband and I each got a Kilauea burger, his had chili, and it was absolute perfection. We also got an order of chips and salsa, truffle fries, and onion rings. Additionally, a Tiki Thai and a Big Island Iced Tea. Superb. We will be back!

I know it was the weekend but this place was hopping!! The staff were on it!! Didn’t have to wait for anything. The Malibu Burger was off the hook, super juicy. I do not regret getting it. The fries were perfectly done with the absolute just right amount of crispiness. Bathrooms were super clean. Plenty of parking. Love that surfing is on one channel and football on the other. I wish I could afford to come more often. Downloaded the app and got a coupon. Score!!!

Finally, I had the opportunity to try islands out and tried the Hawaiian chicken sandwich and the mini burgers with fries. Both were really good, the food is good but a bit on the pricey side in my opinion but other than that I have no complaints.
