It was a bit quieter than normal according to our server, perhaps because of it being Memorial Day weekend.
Regardless, the Spinach/Artichoke starter was really good, different than anything you get at the major chain restaurants and honestly one of the best that we have had, freshly cooked tortilla chips too, yummmm.
Lady had the Sesame Chili Tuna, it was fantastic, I had the 12 oz Prime Rib which was perfectly cooked. Was hoping for a dessert but alas the appetizer coupled with main course made that a non-option as I really wanted to try the Chocolate Mousse Cake I saw another table enjoying, next time for sure.
Special shout out to our server Morgan, you made our evening with your knowledge of the dishes and pleasant conversation, may your future be filled with success, you have earned it.
The restaurant inside is beautiful, looks like a really nice place. Nice patio, and a fireplace inside. Good vibes.
When we got there it took probably 15 minutes to get us seated ( on a Wednesday night, it wasn’t super busy ) and then once we got seated, it took quite a while for us to get drinks, and again a while to order our app, and then even longer for the server to come back and take our food order. Might as well mention they werent very attentive to get us refills on our drinks either.
We ordered the spinach artichoke dip for an app, that was pretty good. I ordered the pecan crusted chicken which was delicious. My boyfriend ordered the chicken tortilla soup, and that was not good at all. It just tasted like an overpowering amount of taco seasoning was thrown over it. Heartburn in a bowl, really.
We were there for over 2 hours.
We don’t live in this area but if we ever return to ann arbor, we will not be coming back here.
The food on the other hand was absolutely terrible. Bland food with no seasoning. I was actually appalled at how under seasoned the fish was. It’s really hard to mess up fish. The Mac n cheese was absolutely despicable. It has no flavor or seasoning at all.
