How this place has a high star rating is just hilarious!!! I should have read the reviews. The place itself is clean and nice inside, But the food was absolutely terrible!!!

Me and my wife got the steak tacos, the meat was bland and mushy, the tortillas were undercooked wet and soggy, my fingers poked through the bottom of my tacos.

The Salsa was terrible as well, very watered down and runny. The chips were cold and chewy. The only good part of meal was the beans.

The waitress disappeared on us and never brought us the check. I had to walk up to the counter to pay

This place freaking sucks. There are tons of Mexican places in Greenwood, go somewhere else!

The food was so delicious! They might need to fix their dishwasher though… our cups looked dirty.

Me and my friend went here to grab some grub and hang out. We decided to sit on the patio since it was a nice day out. The service was phenomenal. There was not a single minute that I needed anything as a waiter was always around and ready or someone in management was walking the yard type of deal. Good stuff. The food and drinks were amazing and cooked perfectly. I even got some food for the road for my Fiancé at home. Got her 3 Chicken tacos and she was a happy lady!

We had the best service tonight! I came in with some friends and Carlos took great care of us. He was so friendly and attentive from start to finish. They also have the best homemade hot sauce. I highly recommend Luciana’s and Carlos!

Very nice atmosphere and decorated. Staff is kind and professional. The food, however, was very bland…
Very Very bland with no flavor. It’s so sad because a Mexican restaurant should be full of seasoned food options and delicious tastes but not here. Tried the carne asada, guacamole, chorizo con pollo, and horchata, and everything was bland.
The foodie in me was so sad.
Again, it is very nice inside, and seating is spacious, but the food is not it. Very whitewashed and no authentic Mexican food.

Eating here was such an odd experience. The waiter who was also the bartender, told my boyfriend he’d have water to drink. He came to take our drink order, he took mine and then told him he’d have water to drink for now. My boyfriend gave his drink order (a margherita) 3 times and they still got it wrong and it took a half hour to come out. The food wasn’t good and they never gave us more chips after receiving our cheese so it got cold and we did not eat it. Someone else was complaining abojt their experience when we walked in. Overall no reason we’d come back, service sucked, food sucked.

Was looking up Mexican restaurants in Greenwood and this place had very good reviews, so I decided to try it one day for takeout. I was surprised at the huge bag they gave me when I went to pick up. Besides the three tacos I ordered, I also got chips and salsa with my order, and beans and rice, so that was a lot of food for a great price. So I got the Tacos Trio, Which is three different tacos. I was pleased that they were authentic with only meat, cilantro, and onion, but the meat on all of them was so dry I could barely get it down. The chips were good though. So then I just figured that was a bad day, and I would try the place again with my husband because he was wanting Mexican, and as I said earlier, thy have pretty great reviews. This time we dined in and I ordered the Texas Nachos, that have steak, shrimp, and chicken on them. That was dry too and not seasoned at all, and the cheese was hard (weird). All it was was the protein, cheese, and chips, I would’ve thought they would’ve added more to the nachos. My husband ordered the Burrito Americano and he didn’t like his at all, said it wasn’t seasoned, and it came with fries that he didn’t care for, although I thought the fries were decent lol. I will say one thing we absolutely LOVED, was the queso with meat and chips, that was sooooooo good, we would go back just to get that lol. I do like the atmosphere and look of the restaurant, and the fact that the prices are very good, especially compared to how much food you get, but the food just isn’t that good. It looks good, they do great on presentation lol, the taste just doesn’t match.

After reading the reviews of this somewhat new to the area Mexican place, we decided to give it a shot. Having heard of the super long wait times, we figured if it was bad, we would just pop down 135 and go to our fav Mexican place, Margarita’s. We must have planned perfectly as the place was almost empty and we were seated right away! This was a Saturday evening too! However, I believe the caveat here is that pretty much all of Indy was being absolutely pounded by thunderstorms, and Beech Grove even had a tornado, so I think everyone else was hunkered down at home!
Anyway, our waiter arrived promptly, and we ordered a big Texas Margarita to share. It arrived promptly, accompanied by a basket of chips and salsa (I also ordered cheese for dipping). The Margarita was really good, although I still have to give our other fav place a higher score for overall flavor. Chips could have been a bit crisper and fresher, salsa was tasty, cheese was plentiful and piping hot! My husband ordered the Golden Enchiladas, which were really good (I think I would choose those on a possible repeat visit!) while I got the very generous Texas Fajitas. I wish the veggies were chopped just a bit thinner, as some of the pieces were really quite large and chunky, for putting in a soft fajita shell. To finish things off, we had their fried ice cream, which gets 4 thumbs up from us!
Prices were quite reasonable, and overall service was really good, though we did have to wait a while for our check (no idea why).
Would I go there again? Sure! Would I wait 45 mins for a table, like some folks have had to do? Umm no. I would drive 10 mins down the road and go to Margarita’s, lol.

Sergio was our bar tender. And he made the best Margarita I’ve ever tasted. We ordered for carry out, and our food was great.

Lucianas Mexican Restaurant and Cantina is right on State street with ample of parking in both the sides and in the back of Restaurant. They have outdoor and indoor seating options and plenty of space to sit and enjoy your meal. They offer a pretty big menu for food and have a full bar to tingle your taste buds. The service is very quick and staff is really friendly. Me and my family chose to sit outside and ordered food and beverages outdoor and enjoyed a nice dinner. I ordered the specialty Chori Pollo and my wife ordered Vegan Taco salad and we ordered chicken nuggets, fries and rice for kids. The portion they serve per dish is plenty and we both were not able to finish it. The preparations were very tasty and I enjoyed the Chri Pollo and recommended trying it.
