Dear O’Charlies management,
You have hired amazing caring staff. I came in today after my car broke down on me while I wanted on a tow truck. I just wanted some food and a drink. Your waiter/bartender Eric was so kind to me.
I came in sat at the bar ordered a spicy margarita and some food. At this point I was very overwhelmed and had started to cry. Eric was kind and asked me what happened. I explained I don’t have many people I know in the area and my car had broke down. He listened and chatted with me. He then gave me a tiny Jesus (I love it) and made me another drink. It started to rain and he offered me his umbrella for when I had to cross back across the street to my car. He also brought me cookies and ice cream which to be fair will make anyone’s day better.
I just wanted to come here and say you have amazing staff and you have my business from here out.
Thank you for being kind to a very overwhelmed emotional individual today and letting me drink my tequila while crying in a judgment free place.

We recently came for dinner expecting decent food and sub par service per past experiences, but this time stood out. Addison was our server and provided the best service we’ve had. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and not overbearing. She offered suggestions that we were very pleased with. We will be back and asking for Addison as our server!

Seating was fast and our server was pretty quick and kind! The rolls they bring out for free are okay, nothing standout but just enough to be vaguely satisfying. We got two appetizers: the Chips and Queso and the Potato Skins.
The chips and queso were actually pretty dang good and we chowed down on it so much I nearly didn’t finish my meal . The potato skins are better than expected and I personally believe them to be better than most other restaurants I’ve had. Even with a full stomach, it still tasted great! I ordered the New Orleans Cajun Pasta with Chicken and I don’t know many other ways I could have been happier with it. Seasoning was solid, the sauce was smooth and a good, yet mellow flavor, it had peppers and onions in it and they were delectable with it all together or just on the penne noodles. It may be my favorite Cajun chicken pasta equivalent I’ve personally ever had. However, my girlfriend ordered the 6oz Top Sirloin with Fries and the steak (while grilled which did add a decent base flavor) had next to no seasoning other than the grilled flavor that comes with it anywhere. That seems to be the only negative aspect I can point out. Sirloin needs more flavor in general. All together, I’m pretty happy with it! Curbside to go.. paid for Bourbon Glazed salmon but got home and had regular salmon. Also ordered Southern Fried Chicken salad.. lettuce was YELLOW! Looked OLD! This is not the first time they have gotten our curbside order wrong. We will NEVER eat here again!

I felt so uncomfortable because I asked the waiter could we change our meal for something else he basically said no and told us he already put the order in we were just passing through trying different foods but the employee made me feel like my husband couldn’t afford our meal. The guy couldn’t do his job because he was ease dropping in our conversation, I just felt uncomfortable. My husband normally leave 10 dollars or better for a tip but this guy only got 3 dollars for doing such a poor job in customer service and being a waiter and the food was horrible we will never be back.

I went to O’Charley’s for dinner last night, and I was sorely disappointed. The food was bland and tasteless, and the service was slow and indifferent. I ordered the grilled chicken and ranch sub, and it was the driest, most flavorless sub I’ve ever had. The bread was stale, the chicken was dry, and the ranch dressing was watery. I’m not sure what I was expecting from a place like O’Charley’s, but I certainly wasn’t expecting such subpar food.
I’m sure there are people out there who enjoy O’Charley’s, but I’m not one of them. The food is simply not good enough to justify the price. If you’re looking for a decent meal, I would suggest going elsewhere. There are plenty of other restaurants in town that serve better food at a lower price.
As for the service, it was just as bad as the food. Our waiter was completely disinterested in our table, and it took him forever to bring our food. When he finally did, he didn’t even ask if we needed anything else. We were left sitting there for a long time after we finished eating, waiting for someone to come and take our plates.
I’m not sure what O’Charley’s is doing wrong, but they need to do something to improve their food and service. Otherwise, they’re going to continue to lose customers.
In the meantime, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. I’m not going to waste my time and money on a restaurant that serves subpar food and has terrible service.
Their chicken tenders honestly aren’t any better.
