What a cute spot for a cocktail. I bet it’s better in the summer with all of the open windows, but was still cool. It’s a small spot. but those drinks hit.. my bartender was amazing. I forgot her name.. my drink was delicious. I had some kind of a old fashion and my ice cube was the orange juice. Plus she added in some cherries.. omg it was delicious. I hope one day this becomes a smoke lounge. It will definitely be a hit! But even though you can’t smoke yet still a spot worth stopping in and grabbing a couple of cocktails! Cool vibe!

The service, the atmosphere, the crew members…I can’t say enough! If you’re in Boston, go there. You’ll see. We didn’t order food so I couldn’t rate it but our drinks, I can’t remember what they were because there were so many, but they were on point! Served!

I’ve been wanting to try Apex Rooftop Bar & Lounge in Downtown Boston since it opened, and Mother’s Day was the perfect reason. For $40, we got a great deal: brunch, a drink, a rose, and live R&B violin music—which was honestly amazing.
The buffet, served one level down by the chef himself, included jalapeño scrambled eggs, fried chicken, potatoes, creamy pasta, bacon, turkey sausage, waffles, fresh fruit, and a selection of cakes. While a few items weren’t as hot as I’d like, I’m pretty sure Chef Jermaine would’ve happily reheated them had I asked—he was super accommodating.
We even got a surprise visit from Tito Jackson (yes, Boston’s own)! It was a fun touch that added to the atmosphere. The vibes were great, drinks were solid, and the entire staff—from servers to the lovely hostess—was friendly and welcoming.
I’d definitely come back, especially if they update the menu and expand beyond fruity mimosas. I don’t use cannabis, but next time I’ll have to check out their store. All in all, a good experience at a reasonable price.

This is a nice place with friendly staff. I loved the music choice – y2k classics. However, they could add another table next to the view. You are paying a premium for drinks because of the view, which you may not get to see at all. We paid $19 for a single cocktail. Seriously… exorbitant. They were weak drinks and it took 15 minutes for us to get two cocktails. Get it together. $19, please. Get over yourself Boston.

We came to celebrate a friend’s birthday and the overall experience was amazing. The drinks were delicious, we also tried the “Expresso Martini Flight” and was great. The owner gave a special birthday shot to my friend which was nice.

Highly recommended for Sunday brunch day out. $40 include brunch, buffet style. The staff welcomed us with a mimosa which is included with the ticket price. I was inpressed by the options offered. A super cozy and intimate setting. They had a 90’s rnb and hip hop theme today with a live violinist, Fred Woodward, playing. The vibes and views were on point. And $18 for garage parking down the street. This is a black family owned business and the owner personally introduced himself. The staff is super welcoming and attentive. A speakeasy hidden gem. Go support and check this place out.

An excellent time start to finish. The two greeting us outside were super friendly, as well the person who took us up the elevator. Lovely space, even though it is a bit tiny! Attentive bartender, friendly security, and our server Kenny was great! Loved that the owner, Tito, had a presence and checked in on customers – those he knew and those new to him. A great spot to grab a drink before or after dinner.

Intimate rooftop bar above Apex Dispensary, this is the kind of place that requires a bit of planning to make work, but is worth it. Its not large, so be prepared to get close to your date/friends/others. Most of the bartenders are attentive and very good (one dude took my order twice and never came back, but I was having too much fun to mind too much). Music was loud, so if conversation is the primary point you’re out, this isn’t the place for that. If you’re out to dance, drink some tasty cocktails and have a fun night out, you’ve found a great spot for that.
Its located on the top floor of Apex Dispensary, and be sure to state you’re there for the rooftop instead of the dispensary, so they direct you appropriately (the dispensary can get surprisingly busy as it gets closer to midnight). So let them know, that way they can more easily handle customers.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!! I kid you not, I will be back here EVERY time I visit Boston. I took the 2.5 hour drive to visit this place because of the R&B/Rooftop vibe and I DO NOT regret it. The staff is amazing and the vibes were even better.
