Even before there was a Little Ethiopia in Los Angeles, it was our mission to bring true Ethiopian Style cuisine to the residents and visitors of LA and surrounding cities. Our dishes have always been crafted from authentic recipes, full of delicious flavor. A Messob is a traditional Ethiopian breadbasket that is interchangeably used as a communal dinning table as well as an Injera storing utensil.
Guests eat with their hands at this casual spot featuring both traditional vegan & meat stews.

We were a group of four, and we ordered the vegetarian combo with a number six to add on, some beef tips. This was enough for the four of us for sure and everyone was satisfied with the meal. I thought some of the vegetable dishes were cold, but other than that everything was extremely tasty. The Decour is nice, but service It is incredibly slow. However I can say that the manager warned us of this when we sat down and asked us to be patient. So, I do appreciate that, but waiting 45 minutes for a meal is a lot. We ordered the samosas while we waited, but the samosas also took 35 minutes to come out. I recommend this place, just knowing that the service is slow.
A very cozy restaurant, service is a little slow but overall was a nice experience.
We ordered sambusa for appetizer and it was different compared to indian Samosa as it was made of lentils.
The food is really not spicy at all. The vegan combo of collards, cabbage, chana dal and some red curry made of lentils was really nice with the injera.
The baklava was however just ok.
Would totally recommend for first time experience.
The interior is also really beautiful and fantastic! Loved the ceilings and much as the wall decor!
Will defiantly be back with more friends!
