Service was very good and the food was good as well. Ample parking as always, disability accommodations. The menu is vast and the desserts are very good. Our waitress was very friendly and prompt.

Great Diner with great food and reasonable prices. We had the full order of Chicken Fried Steak with French fries and fried okra. Asked for extra gravy, no problem. One of the best Chicken fried steaks we have had. Kathy, our server excelled at serving us.

Great place to get a bite to eat. The atmosphere is very cozy and inviting. Service is great. Food was delicious and reminds you of meals your grandma used to make. I had the Chicken Fried Steak….soo good! Will definitely eat here again.

Food is southern comfort. Chicken fried steak is excellent. I had chicken pot pie soup that was great. I didn’t miss the crust! Haha! Several large groups were there…possible holiday gatherings.

Its Such a cute place. Love the decor! Our service was great and the food is so good. I got the steak fingers and they were so good, just like home made. The PIE is the star of the show though. We got a piece of the chocolate and the strawberry and they were both amazing. 10/10

Just had an absolutely stellar meal at Dixie Diner in Texarkana—hands down one of the best spots to get that authentic Southern comfort food fix! The chicken fried steak was perfection: crispy, tender, and smothered in creamy gravy that you’ll dream about. Paired it with the pinto beans and mac & cheese, both of which were out-of-this-world awesome—creamy, flavorful, and just the right amount of homey goodness. And don’t even get me started on the pies… the coconut and chocolate were divine, light yet indulgent slices of heaven that capped off the meal beautifully.
Our server, Jenny, was the cherry on top—a true gem! She was warm, attentive, and made us feel right at home with her Texarkana charm and spot-on recommendations. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and swing by. This place embodies everything great about local eats. 5 stars all the way! Highly recommend for families or anyone craving real deal Texas-Arkansas border grub.

all of it is unseasoned and tastes like someone’s white great grandma’s depression meal. I literally kept gagging and feeling sick after eating the “Alfredo” which was basically fake runny plastic cheese and great value mac noodles with weird chicken.

Man, this was a gem hidden in plain sight. We drove for 6.5 hours to do a job in Texarkana and this was right by our job. Im so glad we went here and not a basic burger king situation.
The food was top notch!
I got the Chicken fried Veil Cutlet and it was Amazing! Id never had a fried cutlet like this, it was very flavorful. & the cookies on the batter was light and crispy. It wasn’t greasy or overcooked.
I was some really nice looking homemade pies, but theres no way I could’ve put it down and worked another 6+ hours. Maybe next time ill get the coconut cream.
Everyone was very polite and service was prompt.

We were cutting thru Texarkana and this popped up as a local suggestion. Soooo worth the stop! The food was delicious and the portions (even the 1/2’s) are HUGE! Great atmosphere and service. You will not leave disappointed.

Classic Southern local diner! I visited on road trip and was fortunate to arrive just as they opened for Sunday lunch. Loads of specials, including not listed on the board frog legs, but I choose chicken fried steak. Rolls and corn bread, excellent iced tea, friendly service. The restaurant was nearly full by the time I paid my check.
Update: I’m making this my regular roadside stop when passing through, reliably great food and swift service.
