My husband and I stopped by for lunch on a Friday. It was noon and they were busy. Our server was Rudy, he took really good care of us. We got our drinks and chips with salsa and charro beans it was a nice surprise. We also ordered a queso as an appetizer. Our food did take 30 minutes to arrive. Our server kept checking on us and even brought a fresh basket of chips as we waited. When we got our food the food was hot and looked good also it tasted just as good. The handmade corn tortillas were good also. As we ate the manger came by to check if everything tasted good. We had a good first experience and will be returning to try other plates.

My friend took me here as I’m new to the area. The best fajitas in town she told me. When you first visit, they plate you with a sample of their famous fajitas. It didn’t disappoint. The steak is good quality marinated perfectly. Also comes with rice & beans. The price is a little high for what you are receiving, but you know it’s going to be good. We’ll definitely be back.

We ordered the barbacoa tacos and fruit pancakes(pancakes were thon like crepes though). Both were delicious! And the fact they sold mexican cokes helped the meal taste even better!Parking was scarce but to be expected in The Quarry. Ate at the bar for faster seating. Only one bartender when we showed up so service sufferred, but within the hour they had 2 more to help. That’s why they were docked a star for service.

Good spot for brunch with friends. Had to wait when we went on the weekend. They were very busy so the service was a bit lower. Carne asada and eggs were good. Burrito was well done too. Queso was plain. Probably could be better with meat. Decent price point for portion and quality.

Yesterday, around 1 PM, I went to meet a friend for lunch at Lupe Tortillas Quarry. I sat at the bar, at that time, there were two people at the bar. More than 10 minutes later, I still hadn’t received my ice tea. I ended up moving to a table, because shortly after, there were 4 groups of two that sat at the bar. I asked to speak to a manager, not because I wanted attention, but to hopefully help those clients sitting at the bar. The lady manager on duty, told me how good the bartender was, as if she didn’t hear anything I said. The service at the table was better, but lunch for two was $70 before tip, for a little more, I could have had a steak and a lot better service. Some restaurants are losing their focus on customer service and satisfaction. It is a very pleasant environment, but out of three visits, the service fails miserably. I really like the food and wished they had Serrano peppers.

We usually frequent Lupe’s New Braunfels’ location, but we had a last minute craving for fajitas and queso. We popped into The Quarry location for lunch… and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious! The beef and chicken fajitas sizzled, and the queso was creamy goodness. I want to give a shout-out to our server Eleyna. In spite of being incredibly busy, she was efficient, helpful, and friendly. Highly recommend… cheers!

This is my favorite Lupe Tortilla in the state of Texas. The outdoor seating is my favorite especially around this time of year when they put the outdoor heaters on. The food served here is top tier with the flavor of the food and the overall cleanliness of the restaurant. The managers to the waiters are so pleasant and polite I have to eat here at least once or twice a month!
